My local had no bottled water and I do not drink soft drinks so I opted for a small bottle of Heineken with lots of ice which promptly melted and watered down the Heineken nicely

An apple and a banana from Reception (two different days): €0,40.

Work had a barbecue last Wednesday, which I did not attend, having a parental leave day. Plenty of left-overs on Thursday, so I came away with: 3 balls of mozzarella, 1 punnet of organic cherry tomatoes, 1 kg of cut and marinated organic beef, 5 large slices of gouda cheese. I'll claim €10.

Just back from the YhA in Sheringham (Norfolk) we had a 6 bed room for £33 a night including use of the communal kitchen/ lounge / tv room etc... so we arrived early on Wed and left yesterday. 5 minutes walk from the sea, the weather was lovely, the kids spent the entire time in and out of the sea, it is our first 'proper' holiday as I have been guilt-tripped into dragging them around family members for the last 12 years. The kids loved it - said it was the best holiday they had ever had, and did not mention an xbox or ds once. DH kept leaving his wallet in the room (family joke with me and the DS's - oh, left your wallet at home? So your father's son!)

However I am now Satan with the MIL as I did not take her DGC over to visit her.

    So £99 for 3 nights ( 20% off)

    Happy Sunday Everyone!

Not bad this week, had the electric bill through - £190:eek: gave them a meter reading, £150 :T

Home insurance renewal quote from Mr T £97:eek: Phoned to say no sale I'm off, they lower it by £40!!

    So that's £80 :T And I also had £10 amazon voucher through from somewhere - I forget:D - Plus a few pennies on COS

Sounds good until I see the CC bill of £1100 this month_pale_ I need to chase Currys about £80 cashback which is yet to appear too.
