I've got the grandchildren for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, I expect the eldest one will stay up for New Year for the first time, little brother is unlikely to make it.Sell £1500

We've done the nights out and house parties, then three years ago decided to have a quiet one round our friends (me, hubby, his friend and his wife) and get a curry and just have a few drinks, and we enjoyed it so much its kind of become our new years eve tradition and we plan on doing the same this year!!0

Out early afternoon to meet a few friends, home on the next-to-last bus (around 7pm) and then a nice meal with a good bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary.0

We've been invited to a Hawaiian themed party. I've had to saw a couple of coconuts in half as part of the costume arrangements. I'm not quite sure who is going to be wearing them, or where, though.
The grass skirts are going to be a challenge.0 -
Cinema , call in for takeaway on the way home then nothing.
Last time we did anything on New Year's Eve was the millennium , our street clubbed together for a marquee which went up in one of the gardens and we had a big party in there . Was an absolutely cracking night 2 minutes from home so I doubt anything else could top it ( or the hangover I had the next day ! )0 -
Getting dressed up to the nines and off to friends for dinner, cocktails and fizz. With a couple of rounds of cards against humanity, no doubt lots of laughing and lots of dancing.0

We're not sure. Had a.couple of invites but they aren't close so we'd have to stay over on sofas possibly, the closer one also has lots of cats I'd be allergic to so not much fun to stay over. Tempted to be just the 2 of us but worried that's a bit dull for a couple in their 20s.with no kids... Some friends always go out to dinner, if they aren't all booked up maybe we'll look into that (I think it's normally a special open till after midnight deal). Bit of a meh one this year!Trying to lose weight (13.5lb to go)0
