Honorary DD has had our new little boy - 33 weeks and weighing in at 4lb 14ozs. He's gone off for a few weeks in special baby care but he's fine. Such a happy ending for them. Thanks everyone for your positive vibes and good wishes. :j

Peppa fantastic news for HDD & all of you!! Something special always comes :-)

2nd day of first aid course today and although I don't need to get up til 7.15 my body decided it would be awake from when DH went at 5.15 :O
Think we are learning cpr today. Need to make some scones tomorrow on my day off but I'm out of plain flour so might pick some up on my way home. Not made some for a long time, so need to get my be-ro book out. Stack of ironing that needs doing tonight when I get home later!

Have a good day everyone, rain aside x

Chrissy does he have Gremlin heritage?

Peppa, lovely news about the new arrival.

Newthrift, always the case with me when I could lie in too, even awake before Mr V's alarm.

I am liking the rain as I moved a lot of foxgloves last night from where they had seeded themselves to a more picturesque spot.Met 2 ladies from the States last night who are on holiday here. This is a very sociable garden with passersby.

I also scored myself a free takeaway! A car lost its wheel trim as it went round a corner into the road opposite the garden.I walked up with it and the bloke was looking all around for it.He apparently owns a takeaway in the next town and told me to call in for a freeby.

I am having a lazy day today, may possibly try to squeeze Mr V's clothes into a case, have done DD2's and most of mine already. We are only taking hand luggage as there is a washing machine at the house we are staying at.

    Have a nice day.Vx

Just seen this 96 LED cherry blossom tree ideal for Christmas down from £29.99 to £6.54 on Amazon. Tend to take their prices with a pinch of salt but camelcamelcamel.com shows it as the lowest price https://www.amazon.co.uk/WeRChristmas-Pre-Lit-Illuminated-Blossom-Branches/dp/B00KH1DUMC/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1463612027&sr=8-11&keywords=cherry+blossom+tree

ETA, ordered with some Colony Christmas candles that someone posted the link to a few pages ago. Didn't realise they were made by Wax Lyrical, sorted a pressie out for my candle-loving bestie.

Thanks peeps, the new little one is doing well and breathing on his own. Have seen a pic and he's gorgeous (of course).

MONEYMAKER thanks for that link, I've just been onto the website and bought one too! I've still got a few days left on my Amazon Prime free trial too so got free next day delivery. I'll probably use it all year round so a great buy.

Ha ha at your dog CHRISSY. Before we sadly lost our lovely dog a few months ago she could be like that. I remember one morning I put her harness on, turned round to open the front door and when I turned back I just saw her fat little bottom disappearing up the stairs. I ended up going for the walk without her! :D
