    Thanks MM, NEWTHRIFT and FREE.

WOW FREESPIRIT that cake is amazing. How you can even attempt something like that feeling like you do is completely beyond me. Def ask your GP for anti sickness meds - I think I'd be a total mess without mine!

    Evening everyone,

    SPRINGDREAMS thankyou very much :)

MURIE sorry i got a message to say my inbox was full, i have now deleted some messages so it should be ok now. OMG that is not good my lovely, i only know a little about the rotor cuff because another lady was talking about the same damage on another thread on here, you are really going to have to be strict with yourself and rest it as much as you can to see if you can heal it before 6 weeks is up to avoid surgery :(
Mmmm that canape sounds lush (must look up wooden picks that arent cocktail sticks, i live a sheltered life :rotfl:)

PEPPAPIG oh blimey i thought i was going to pass out, the pain was particularly bad like someone had kicked me in the stomach, i had to have alka seltzer cos i felt so sick and was pouring with sweat in the end i shouted at myself to pull myself together because i wasnt going to let DD2 have a birthday without a cake :rotfl:i then just did it slowly and a stage at a time and it was fine!

    MONEYMISSION thankyou very much :)

I think we all want putting in a sack and shaking up! Free is the hospital app for your sickness?

I have been busy crafting and gardening and talking to passers by.An old lady I talk to came and gave me some limes,a cooking apple and 2 baking spuds today. How nice of her.She has too much to use herself.

I hope this weather is helping everyones spirits.

    Vx

Free.. The cake looks amazing, and so are you. Well done for bravery, perseverance, creativity, and sheer singlemindedness!!!!
Peppa, glad it went ok, my love, mine didn't make me sick at all, so maybe yours wont either. Dig your heels in and get it done girl, go you.
No, l haven't heard of picks not tooth ones, either, but then 'canapes' is a mystery to me tooo. Murie.
Vulpix, what a lovely gesture to you,
Nothing Christmassy here either, but busy in the garden, instead.
Got word that my visa documents are at the Chinese embassy hopefully the visa will be issued and back to me before too long.
DGS is spending this weekend with DS2 They intend playing computer games and eating pot noodles (its a male bonding thing, l think) or they are just weird, either does in our family.

MRSINVISIBLE that's just music to my ears - I think I can cope with anything else but the sickness. Good news about the visa paperwork, hope they're through soon.

VULPIX you're right, a good shake up is probably much needed.

Thinking of you FREE, I def could not have done what you did I'm too much of a wimp lol.

PRINCESSKITTY hope the settling in is going well.

Hoping it's quiet because everyone is busy with happy things or enjoying the weather in between showers. Overcast and chillier here today but still dry at the moment. Hoping to buy a summer weight duvet today as winter one is too hot and just using the cover without the duvet in it is ok for DH but too cold for me!

Don't know now if I said but honorary DD whose bubby so sadly died a few hours after birth last year is pregnant again. She's had regular scans all the way through and baby has been growing normally and she's just got to 32 weeks and started to relax and then contractions started so she's in hospital and they're trying to get her nearer to 34 weeks if they can. The good news is that unlike last time this is a healthy baby and the docs are confident that even if he comes now he'll be ok and will just need a few weeks in special baby care. Keeping everything crossed for them.

Hang on in there HDD, and feel all the 'with you' vibes.
My friend brought her new first grandson across to see me yesterday, a real sweetie, and as he was also his mummie's 3rd pregnancy even more precious if that were possible.
DSIL/BFF and my big bro had their car serviced yesterday, and were amazed to get a mobile phone video of the work in progress, the modern age, eh?
Went window shopping with DD yesterday evening, looking for kitchen bins, (we know how to have a good time) and we are off to do it again today. We need to get out more, but really...

Great cake Free - is it just me that the time flies by for? It was only two minutes ago you 'knitted' the owl cake!
To all those who are unwell or had accidents - you're doing so incredibly well. Every time I read about concrete slabs on toes and chipped collar bones, torn rotor cuffs etc. I find myself saying out loud - and loudly - ouch! Stay as well as you can - and, if at all possible, bear in mind that you all deserve to spoil yourselves to make up for any, and all, happenings!
