Peppa- fingers crossed for HDD. Hopefully by now they will have been able to stop her contractions, but if they haven't been able to then I hope all has gone well xx How are you now?
Free- did you get the pm?( I hope you did cus I cant find it in my sent box and I cant face trying to type it out again in a hurry lol). Did DD2 enjoy her cake and have a lovely birthday on Friday? Hope you OK?
Newthrift- chips for tea is OK once in a while- look at all the hard work you have done at the allotment!
Vulpix- bet that brought a lump to your throat when the old lady did that? What a lovely gesture. How is your foot? Yup- Im going in that bag first! But don't shake too hard Ok cus Im delicate?!
Mrs I- canap!s-(fancy name for bitty food that you never can fill up on!) are what DD has asked for at her birthday party (champagne and canap!s if ya don't mind- my kids either got class -or illusions of grandeur!). She knows they probably wont look pretty cus her dad will be assembling them but hopefully they will taste good! The problem is that she has a part time job ( to fund her car through uni) at a Champagne bar in Selfridges, so she sees all these lovely things come out of the kitchen there and thinks I can do the same! They had a designer cat walk show on Thursday night and she brought home some stuff- crab blinis, mozzarella mini tarts with heritage tomatoes and basil and salted caramel truffles. They were all divine but way out of my league (even if the mozzarella tarts were just cheese and tom quiche in my opinion!!). I have had a go at making some of the truffles this morning (you can imagine how long and what a mess I got into doing them one handed!). They don't look very round or very neat but hopefully they will taste ok! If not Im sure they will still be woofed down after dinner.
Princess Kitty- hopefully you are out making new friends and enjoying the weather in your new neighbourhood.
Salamangundi- yup, you are right tie really does fly past! I remember Free's owl cake and it doesn't seem so long ago... (must be getting old!)
Chrissy- bet you had a massive sense of satisfaction that all pressies and cards are delivered for the year? No wonder your DD is excited, she's getting to be quite the globe trotter!
Thanks for all the well wishes xx
Enjoy the day everyone, here in Brum its nice and sunny if a little chilly, but hey- you cant have everything can you?!lovin' this site!

Hi Folks,
A lovely weekend here.I must say i read the posts and sort of reply to comments in my head and by the time I post I don;t know what I need to say or not iykwim.Lots of interesting stuff going on.
The dog pics,I had a cat like that, slept through everything until the fridge door was opened. It then appeared from nowhere.
The old lady walks past mine to the shop every day.She has never married and has no family and seems very grateful for a chat. She is a bit posh in a jolly hockey sticks kind of way.I like her.
I went into town by myself yesterday and looked for stuff to put away for Christmas but was empty handed.I just got some tiny size toiletries for during the flight to Canada.
If this sack can grant wishes I would like to be about 4 inches taller please.I had to ask a woman to get me something off a shelf yesterday.I can think of no advantages in being a shorthouse.
Hope this nice weather is cheering everyone up.Vx:0 -
PS Thanks for asking Murie,my foot is lots better Thanks.I can wear a shoe now for about an hour.It is 4 weeks mind!:0

Evening all
I've actually been well behaved and read back caught up on everything!
Firstly thankyou for the birthday wishes
I had the most amazing birthday! 3 days down in Dawlish, in the perfect sunshine, we were so lucky. Visited my boyfriends grandparents down there too which was lovely, as you know my Grandma died last year, and nothing beats a hug, dinner, and natter with a nan! I think I liked it even more than my boyfriend, he has 3 nans he should learn to share!! haha.
My absence has been due to prepping for a stall at a 'fun day' yesterday, I didn't make my millions, but I made a profit, had fun, and got sunburtboo! And just to top the day off as being possibly one of my favourites this year, I had a lovely unplanned evening of take away and playing computer games with my boyfriend. I never see him unplanned, it's always spoken about a few days before, so it was just so nice
OMO good to see you! and wow you must be so so busy! I struggle with having too much stuff, I can't imagine 'downsizing' eek!
GTQ - I just read you description of your day out and lunch in the shard it sounded amazing! I am incredibly jealous! x
Free - I'm glad to see your backthat cake looks fabulous !! I'm a massive fan of fingers round cakes mmmm!
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Thank you to those who were thinking of me, sorry I haven't been on in a while - life seems to have taken over! I've been throwing myself (and Wiggle) into settling into this new area and going to lots of groups etc, so we've been quite busy and I haven't had enough time in the day! I'm slowly getting into a routine of regular groups and activities that we like doing, and hopefully in time we'll make some more friends. For some reason I have regularly been thinking about Christmas lately, I haven't actually done anything for it recently but it's on my mind a lot! I've also been thinking that I can't be as much of a Christmas nut as I thought - when we went to view the show home of our new house I forgot to look at where we'd put our Christmas tree! When my mum asked me I was ashamed to say I didn't look!
Happy belated birthday pixtotts! _party_ It sounds like you had a lovely time.
CHRISSYG wow, delivering all your presents on Monday, you are the most organised person I know! What lovely news for your DD, something for her to look forward to.
Pinksteps I’m glad to hear you are getting some answers for DS after the assessment, that must be such a relief.
murie that sounds like a really nasty fall, I hope you are resting and recovering and that you get better really soon.
Peppa I’m glad the chemo has gone well so far, fingers crossed it stays like that. Sending all my best wishes for honorary DD and her little baby, and I hope that it all goes well.
freespirit oh poor you, it really can’t be any fun feeling so ill, and I’m sure you were so disappointed with your appointment being in August. Try to keep your chin up. Your cake is amazing! You are really good at these things!
I'm sorry if i've missed anything, I haven't got much time and had to read back really quickly. I hope you are all ok. xx0 -
Just popping my head in to say hello
I read back at lunchtime but didn't have time to reply and have now forgotten, apologies!!!!
Not a lot going on here. My boobs appear to be doubling in size, so much so at bootcamp over the weekend we were running in zigzags up & down a hill and on the down I had to hold them as the sports bra wasn't coping :rotfl:Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Happy Birthday OMO
My concentration levels are so low today, I would much rather be outside in the sun!! SO i'm slowly doing things at work & triple checking to avoid messing anything up!!
I've seen that a girl I know has started doing BodyShop parties, I didn't realise that they did those, has anyone been to one? I'm thinking if you get some good freebies as a host I may have a party and then get some freebies away for christmas haha! That's not too mean is it?
Hope everyone is ok.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
