Hello all, hopefully now I will be back here regularly.
Major lifestyle change in the fact that after about forty years on and off anti depressants (started pre teen). I am now off for good. I had tried and failed to be medication free over the past few years but stumbled but I am finally in the right place. Saying that, the problems have not vanished, I have the depression, ocd, anxiety and panic attacks still but I'm looking at it all positive instead of drugged up (even off the painkiller addiction) So I'm doing really well and fairly happy, starting to slowly think about moving again and not try the going in with all guns blazing approach like before, and fail.
DS is still poorly and is not due to see a neurosurgeon until June, but that will be here in no time. Our dog Teddy is still bouncy and making ds walk when possible. They've even manage with no wheelchair or walker. Such a difference from his dancing days, now we get excited if he can manage a ten minute walk and appreciate everything around.
So, I'm back here. Christmas wise I picked up a lovely watch in @rgos for ds with a hundred and thirty pound discount (might of picked myself up one too). A shirt for him in tkma++ at fifty instead of two hundred and fifty (who pays these prices). And a nightshirt from oxfam, still packaged for three pounds instead of sixty five. I have preordered a retro atari handheld console so it's just some jeans, socks etc and smellies and we are done I think as I am only buying for him this year. I shall make my mum a blanket or suchlike.

So that's it, nothing exciting and I shall now catch up on here. Hugs to all that need them and to those who don't, just because I can.

    :T well done :T

Monday again, where do the weeks fly to? still, its the start of a whole new week, wonder how l will wreck this one? had a quiet weekend, just transplanting seedlings, (l tried to say 'pr!cking out' but the site censored it!) more than 2000 so far, why do l do so many, l don't know, cant bear to throw them out if they germinate they get their chance, but only lobelia left to do now, so l can slow down.
lt is always nice to have enough to give away to friends, or do a couple of containers for them.
Forgot to put the bins out last night so l may have missed the collection,
Time to get DGS up for school Have a good week everyone xx

    Hi,

bought the monopoly on Friday,it was delivered yesterday.Safely shoved in the understairs cupboard before anyone knew about it;)Thanks Moneymaker.

Pinksteps, that is impressive,a great achievement.I was prescribed something or other when I had cancer and couldnt wait to get off them. The GP insisted that I wait until the spring. It was quite scary even after a short time feeling real feelings instead of muted ones,so a massive well done to you.I don't know what happened to your son but best wishes in that department.Ace bargains.

Pk29 sounds like you have turned a bit of a corner. You have your lovely little family and a lovely home and soon lots of lovely new friends too.I bet there are lots of people new to the area just like you who are just waiting for you to discover each other.

Fiesty,I hope the improvement in baby fiesty continues. My eldest was a crier.Never slept more than 2 hours,I was convinced he must be in agony. The GP and I tried everything.Eventually he grew out of it.The GP was very old and said crying babies like that are intelligent and are frustrated. No comfort at all at the time, but it proved to be true.He got a first at Oxford.

I need to just finish a few snags and the kitchen will be complete.Trouble is now the weather is a bit better I want to be out in the "garden".Bomb site would be more apt.I saw the BBC are looking for people to be on a programme where Monty Don comes and gives you advice and you make a garden.I am thinking about applying.

    love to all Vx

    Hi.

Not sure if you have seen any of the programmes that have been made so far, but what actually happens is you design the garden and Monty Don then comes along and advises on your plans. You then implement the plan and do all the work etc. and he comes along when it has been completed to give you his views on your completed project.

Apologies for the lack of interaction but I've been reading every day and I can honestly say your news, chatter and Christmas updates really are a tonic.

PINKSTEPS, lovely to see you back and congratulations on achieving your aim and coming off the antidepressants. Well done too on some fab bargains. I second what Feisty says about your DS but he sounds like he gas a pretty good approach to it all.

FREE, hope things are looking up for you all, you're certainly going through it at the moment. I'd still like to slap DD's bosses.

PRINCESSKITTY it sounds to me like you're doing all the right things and I'm sure you'll feel at home very soon. Don't be too hard on yourself on homesick days though, you've left a lot behind and it's still very early days.

VULPIX no wonder you've been feeling down with all that work going on, we had the bedroom wallpapered last week and that was stressful enough! Sorry to hear about your ulcer and hiatus hernia but at least you can get the right treatment now. I am hugely in awe of you having the camera down without sedation - the colonoscopy was fine but I know I'd need a full general anaesthetic to get a camera down my throat!

MONEYMISSION, nice to see you back.

FEISTY I hope you and DH are able to have a heart to heart very soon - I'm sure you will when the time us right for you both, you've obviously got a strong relationship. Hope little Feisty is doing well.

I'm sure I've missed people I wanted to mention but I'll just have to say hugs to all that need them and I must try to post more regularly.

I see the chemo consultant for the first time on Thursday so will find out the details of the next phase of my treatment. I think terrified would be an understatement lol but apparently everyone has different reactions and side effects so I'm hoping to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't get much sickness (or any actually). On the plus side they've told me that with bowel cancer chemo you don't lose your hair so every cloud and all that. Can you imagine the winking smiley here please as I've used quick reply by mistake and it won't let me post it.

It's 9.15 in the morning and I'm watching 'the Waltons: The Best Christmas' on True Entertainment - it's making me feel all warm and fuzzy and very, very festive :D I'm recording it to add to my stash of essential Christmas watching.

Thanks NEWTHRIFT and ouch!!! VULPIX, surely you must be coming to the end of this run now :(

Just realised that recent events have scuppered any chance of hitting my 2016 challenges, fingers crossed for next year.

Peppa maybe you could make a few amendments to your 2016 challenges to make them more achievable :)

I've made fantatsic progress on gift listing. I've got the budgets written down too. I'm doing a bit of noseing online for deals atm. A reasonable amount is ediable so will have to wait. I've also planned how much to save each week to cover the cost so I'm feeling much more organised.

I'm going to try and concentrate on Christmas a lot more as I need a bit of a distraction from ttc. I've ended up skipping a cycle this month - no obvious reason why - Dr just said that this can happen at this stage after a miscarriage and to carry on trying as normal. Hmmm...I'm still not fully sold and have done a bit of googling on pregnancy boards and it does seem a few people have had the same thing, equally quite a few also did turn out pregnant so who knows. Bodies ey:o:p

Hope everyone is ok, including those we haven't heard from for a bit xx

Newthrift I remember it took a bit of time for my cycles to return to normal after both losses.
I remember well how trying took over my whole life. About 3 years in I had to be firm with myself and say no more. I had a rather embarrassing meltdown at a hen weekend when an acquaintance announced to the group she was pregnant, it was the final straw. I found crafting really helped go take my mind off things :)
