IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! heavily,a proper white out.

Nice to have you back Free.Nice to hear from everybody in the Christmas Family. This thread is so welcoming to everybody,Thank you all for welcoming me into the fold.Although I don't know you in RL I care about what you all post.

Free you are doing so well to deal with what you are and not resort to AD's.The thing about your illness is that it is so complicated and so will take ages to get it under control.Grit your teeth and tell all to the GP and lets hope some change occurs for you.:( about your daughters back.I suppose a little improvement is a step in the right direction.

Well the saga of my life continues, mainly just costing more money. This house is a money pit.My toe is getting better,I can walk on it a bit now and the bruising is going.Went to the supermarket in my slippers today.Still so close to finishing the kitchen but the builders are here full time again and they are in and out so dont want to be glossing till they have gone.

I have had an idea for my youngests Christmas present, well part of it.I will do a hair hamper, in the hope she will take bit more interest really.

    Xmas Saver!
Hi, I'n still alive. Just having a year to remember.
My landlord decided to tell me he was selling on Jan 6th.
Renee is taking her A-levels in few weeks and will then be off in Sept.
So I have decided to make a big leap and buy a static caravan. It has meant decluttering like you wouldn't believe. 4 bed house to 2 bed caravan is no easy task. But I'm getting there. There have been days I have looked round and despaired at the amount of stuff I still have, and others where I have felt great achievement.
I am fortunate that my Dad has a garage I can use for storage, but I don't want to store crap.
I doubt I will be around much until after the move as I never seem to have a spare minute. And when I do I'm making lists of things that still need doing. My brain never rests.
    I hope everyone is well.xx
  • Lovely to see you back, I've been kicking myself for the past year as I changed my mobile number and lost your number. Lots of catching up to do. xx

  • Gettingtherequickly what a nice thing to do for a lady in an unfortunate position, it sounds like a nice community spirit there. Oooh I’d like to go to the Shard so looking forward to your update!

nitnurse I hope you have a lovely holiday to Malta, my DH keeps saying he’s going to take me there one day as he used to go as a child and really liked it there. I know what you mean, Pinterest can be dangerous!

newthrift your poor DH, I hope he is feeling better and it is nothing too serious.

freespirit it is good to see you on here again, we always miss you when you’re away but we all have times when we don’t feel like it. I’m sorry to hear you are still suffering, I know it is hard for you but you are right to go back for more tests and hopefully they can get to the bottom of it for you. It’s difficult when you get down as nothing seems important and you don’t want to do anything, everything seems such an effort. I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better and that you came on here again, I always find Christmas cheers me up – I watched Christmas with the Kranks the other day and it perked me up! I am sorry your DD’s op hasn’t made much difference, it must be so frustrating for her. Big hugs to you all.

Peppa I love Wiggle so much but I feel the same when I’m in a room full of them! I hope you are doing ok. X

msgigglewick great bargain with the Christmas present and well done on losing 6lbs, great work!

mrs-moneypenny good to hear from you, glad you’re ok.

vulpix wow snow?! What part of the country are you in? We just had continuous hail storms! I hope your toe heals quickly and you will get there with your house, the day will come!

OMO really good to hear from you! I hope all goes well with the caravan, I follow you on Pinterest so it highlights your pins to me and I’ve seen your decorating ones, I’m sure it will look lovely once you settle in! Good luck with it all and we look forward to hearing all about it in the future.

PEPPAPIG thankyou my lovely, im glad you have had lots of cuddles, i must admit no matter how bad i am feeling Thumper just lifts my spirits, although i am now glad DD2 has put him into nursery and i only have him one day at the moment, it has taken its toll looking after an 18 month old :rotfl:

MSGIGGLEWICK thankyou!! due to how well you did and NANAMIA on the SW diet, it did inspire me lots and i have kept at it and have now lost 3st 9lb, im sure you will lose what you had lost before, we cant be saintly 24/7 (especially when there is red velvet cake about haha)

VULPIX thankyou thats lovely of you to say, funnily enough i woke up to a scattering of snow in the back garden on tuesday the decking was covered and the roofs of the sheds, not thick but im sure it wasnt frost it was too thick, and i am darn sarf so i was quite shocked!! Im glad your toe is starting to heal now, have you tried arnica for the bruising it is fantastic stuff? Sorry your house is turning into a money pit, hopefully it will all soon be finished and you will be very proud at what you have achieved, your DDs hair hamper sounds fab!

OMO lovely to hear from you, its been a bad year so far for a lot of people this year! Well done on the static caravan, i, like PK, have also noticed your caravan colour schemes on pinterest but i thought it was for your tourer! I love your colour schemes and kept thinking that this caravan is going to be the poshest caravan on any site!! I hope DS and Fingers are well.

    Hi all,

Snowing again at the moment,I just heard the dustmen so had to run out in my dressing gown as I forgot the bin last night. It is sticking on the hills not so much down here but it will if this keeps up.I live in the Peak District. The Midlands really but high above sea level. We have a micro climate which pretty much can give us four seasons weather in one day.

Free would I get arnica from Holland and Bar-ett ?I keep thinking my toe is ok then it reminds me it's not.

No builders here today.I can potter about without having to make decisions about stuff and constantly brewing up.

    Brilliant sunshine now!

I am going to get out all our clothes that I think we might take to Canada. In my case it will be to see what fits me:( I am finding it so hard to shift any weight.I am very cross with myself for putting it on.I didn't need to be the invalid that needed feeding up!This is not helped by the fact that my toe is holding me back exercise wise.I havent been on a walk for ages.

I need to get up and at least hobble about a bit!

    Vx

    :bdaycake: HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESSKITTY :bdaycake:

Afternoon everyone, well i went to the docs and good and bad news :o she has referred me to the Gastroenterology unit at the hospital because she isnt sure what it is and wants to be on the safe side, so i have to wait for an appt for that :( uggghhhh hospitals  and i now have diabetes apparently my sugars were really high in the blood test and i have crossed the borderline, this i am not surprised at and serves me right, i have to go back for bloods in a few weeks, she said to carry on what i am doing losing weight and hopefully she wont have to give me medication for it and i can reverse it. Good news my blood pressure was really good (this is my next goal to lose enough weight to come off meds) so that cheered me up. She has also changed my ibs meds to see if they help with this pain and i have more painkillers. While i had to take my calming pills i thought i might as well get two things done in one day and had my hair cut this afternoon at home, it was so needed :rotfl:

VULPIX i cant believe you still have snow!! We are having some mega hail storms the last few days too, i hope the BH this weekend will brighten up a bit! You can get it from there, i usually get mine at Boots, it really helps with the bruising right inside! Glad you have had a builder free day!

MURIE lovely to see you i will message you back now my lovely

Happy Birthday PK xxxxxxx I hope you are being spoiled.

Oh Free what a pickle. But positive in that A) You went to the GP and B)you have got some names of ailments and can get some treatment for them.

Fed up,very limited selection of clothes for me to take away.I wash and wear at home in a nice combination of cleaning/decorating/work clothes.I am determined to loose weight.I know its too late for my holiday but I will do it when I get back.Went to town today and tried stuff on,it all looked horrible but I think that is just my mood!
