    Hi everyone

I've been lucky enough to pick the winner of the Grand National in the work sweepstake - need to wait until tomorrow to collect my winnings. Due to picking the horse in the sweepstake I also put a bet on it at the bookies (only £1 e/w) so I've got winnings to collect from there as well! :j

Hope that you are all enjoying the weekend.

Free Hope that you are feeling better now and that DS enjoyed the sushi making. :)
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

3FORHOLIDAYS yayyyy congratulations that is fab, it was good odds wasnt it? :D:D I have always put a bet on the GN just to keep my dear Nans tradition alive as she used to do it every year, but being ill i never got to place a bet and then blow me i woke up from a nap and i had missed the flipping race as well :( so i wasnt happy its just something i do for her memory. Thankyou DS and DD1 absolutely loved it and came home with a big tray each of sushi that they had made and a booklet, mat etc so they can do it at home, it was blooming yummy!!

Gtq aww how lovely that so many of your grans Gc were involved in her funeral. 30 in total, blimey what a big family :D
3forholidays YAY well done you on your winnings. I had two bets on, one the horse finished minus it's rider (who was fine) and the other finished 5th so I got my bet money back plus £1.25 which wasn't bad going.
Glad to report that my back *touch wood* is feeling fine!!
Free delighted you are feeling a little better and that you got some tasty homemade sushi.

We have been watching 'hidden britian' tonight and it's quite interesting. Not sure if anyone else has caught it? Also saw a little of britians got talent last night and saw a man doing the swords down his throat and then flipping around while it was still in. I believe he has won the Russian version before. It was one of those things where you don't want to watch but you just can't look away, luckily he was absolutely fine.
    Hope everyone is ok :-)

    Morning all
Hope everyone is well and had a good weekend
Had a really busy one here but managed to achieve lots.

Not sure if anyone has a need for glitter face paints the snazeroo glitters are labeled at £3 each in tesco but seem to be going through the tills at 75p each plus there's an offer buy 5 pay for 4 which kicks in so you get 5 for £3. They are the little individual glitter puts in an wide variety of colours, I found this out when I used a self scanner.

Morning everyone, i have a right day testing my anxiety today, have just driven DD1 to work and then home in her work car, so that i can pick DD2 up from hospital as she is having the injection in her back this morning and take her home, then come home and then go back out to pick DD1 up from work, then i saw that DS hasnt taken his car to work (he takes it in turn with his friend to drive weekly) so DD1 could have taken his and saved a lot of diesel and me stressing, kids uh :D:D anyway i hope everyone has a good day, take care x
