vulpix oh an ulcer doesn't sound very nice you poor thing, I hope they can find out quickly and you can get treated accordingly.
freespirit so sorry to hear you are still in pain, I hope your blood tests went well and you get some helpful feedback from the results. I'm so glad to hear your DD got what she wanted and deserved i'm sure!
Peppapig i'm so glad to hear the consultant is happy with your progress and that they are positive about the outcome. I know you were hoping to avoid chemo but you will get through it and we are all here any time you need to let off some steam. Sending lots of hot cross buns over!
fiesty I really hope everything went well with DH's appointment, i'm sorry you couldn't be with him, these little ones are very demanding! I hope you are all together again soon.
pixtotts ooh I can't imagine having chickens in the bathroom! Your Etsy summit sounds wonderful, what does being a team captain involve?
Gettingtherequickly what a nightmare with the Sainsburys double up! Things like that are always so frustrating.
Nice to hear from you lazysheep, mandco and newthrift!0 -
Hello you lovely lot :-)
Sorry I haven't been posting much, and unfortunately I haven't been reading either. We have been so blooming busy trying to get our rental property decorated and ready for going back on the market for another tenant! Very very little Christmassy stuff going off over here, although whilst painting yesterday a couple of Xmas songs came on my iTunes shuffle haha! Princess kitty thanks for thinking of me :-)
I'm going to have a little read back now as I can't get comfy in bed, sore lower back, feeling a bit either poorly or pregnant :rotfl: I really don't know which! *head in hands*
Hugs all round :-)
Ooh fingers crossed for you my lovely xxx#103 1p Saving Challenge Back to Front 293.94/665.95Currently Reading: Christmas at Cedarwood Lodge - Rebecca Raisin Debt Free thanks to MSE0 -
Hi all
Hugs and best wishes to Free, FF, Peppa et al. :grouphug:
GTQ That sounds like an absolute nightmare in Sains.:mad:
I do agree that their staff are so helpful. I wanted a top a few weeks ago but they didn't have my size so the lady rang 3 other branches, tracked it down and reserved it at the other store for me to collect. I asked at the service desk for a comments form and put in how helpful the lady was and a credit to their store.
If I get bad service, I complain but I also like to reward good service too.
Free, I have had a few bedding sets from Sains and they are good quality. That is a nice treat for you to go with the new bed. I love new quilts. It's like sleeping amid a cloud.
Well, I have managed another great buy for Christmas. Boots had the Soap and glory star set reduced from £40 to £15. I rang local store but they were OOS so they suggested I order online and collect tomorrow in store. So 3 sets for £45. :T:T:T
Bargain. :j:j:j That's one for DD, one for sort of DIL and one spare in case my other DS has a partner at Christmas. If not, I have a couple of early birthdays so it will not come in wrong.
See you all soon

hugs to everyone who wants one. if not why not? ok l will be gentle.
It is car insurance/tax time of year, that's the trouble when we hand cars down the family, they are all due at the same time. l get clickers finger trying to get the best prices. Tried Admirable multi car but still v. pricey. Also older 2 cars both need MOTs as well, argh.
Will this rain ever stop?
Second week of the Easter break, DGS needs haircut, new shoes, longer trousers , bigger jacket!!! DD says we will get them when the rain stops. (no, he needs them this year!)
Have had a tiring few days, as my friend had to have her gall bladder removed on Sunday. Cue no beds at local hospital, so 70 mile round trip to nearest available. that was Saturday, then repeated on Sunday, to take her mam to visit, then repeated on Monday to bring her home. My back is still complaining, so not doing a lot today.
Christmas has taken a back seat until the cash flow starts flowing after paying out for car.
But l saved the best till last, my friend/neighbour has just become a grandma, to Ethan Thomas, born on Saturday. l swear she is 10feet tall.xxx0 -
princesskitty Haha it was a little strange, Bacon wasn't so bad she mostly just wanted to be in her cage or walk about, but Fried was climbing on the cupboards, sitting on the toilet roll holder, and on the edge of the bath while I was in there, that was the funniest as it was so slippy she had to keep rearranging to try and stay on, and she flapped her wings sent bubbles everywhere!! lol.
The team captains sort of moderate local groups, try and get them working as a community to help each other, were doing a peer shop review at the moment, just to help people get up to scratch. And try to arrange meet ups, talk about etsy over coffee and cake, and selling events, we did a Christmas market last year, and hope to do another this year. It can be really fun, especially when you consider that the people you have there mostly work from home alone it can be a solitary, though I have heard it referred to as trying to herd cats! Which is probably pretty accurate lol!
Feisty - I will pop you my link in a pm. My shop is a mess at the moment though! I have a list of things to do that I'm not getting any closer to the end of
I'm still battling for a name for a second shop, it's been top of the to do list since last year sort of thinking I should just list everything on the one I have in case I never think of a name lol.
freespirit - Glad everything worked out for DD in the end, shame you had the weekend of worry first though.
mrsinvisible - Hope your friend is doing ok now! and congratulations to the friend/neighbour! How exciting!
We used to have a very similar car thing, every cars mot, mums, both of dads, even my uncles and grans, were due in April with mine being the last on the 3rd May, actually worked in my favour once, as they had no offers in April but May you got a free meal at the local pub with every MOT ! Woo! lol.
We've managed to space them out a bit now though I have to keep reminding myself that mines July not May!
I'm off to see one of my Avon reps today, and have some cuddles from her new baby! Then tea with a friend, and home to try and get some work done, I have so many things I want to do at the moment I can't make the decision on which to do first!
My boyfriends built me a new computer, or rather I bought his old one off his brother and he's rebuilt it for me, with new shiny bitsso I want to move my desk, and paint a wall before I bring it home
Actually on that note - Do you think I can have grey next to a creamy magnolia "natural hessian" colour? I'm not sure if it will be too warm next to itBut I really want to go with grey and have mint green accessories, but I don't want to repaint my whole room so was hoping to just do a couple walls
and now I'm off to check the boots website thanks nitnurse
xI hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....0 -
Thanks nitnurse I too am off to check the boots website.
Thankfully back eased up and I was able to get a good nights sleep last night, still not feeling 100%, maybe just 98% haha! Off to do pilates with a friend tonight, so hopefully a good stretch will sort me out.
mrs I I'm hoping the rain clears up, we keep getting such a mixture of wet/hail/sun, nobody knows what to do/wear.
pixtotts I'm sure the paint will look lovely, I think you may just have to take the plunge and do it, fingers crossed for the best.
I hope to start my christmas gift list idea at some point the next couple of weeks, might just list the birthday's left too.
We know that my brother is leaving for Canada in August now, so i'm happy to receive any ideas for his birthday plus him and his GF's christmas gift that maybe I could send with them as not sure what the posting is like to there.
They like chocolate, sweets,he is a personal trainer, travelling, spicy food ect. The other alternative is to have some money changed in to canadian dollers and send them with that in cards for the certain dates. As I say any input/ideas appreciated.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
