Treasurequeen I don't feel left out either now I have chocolate hot cross buns! :T
mrsinvisible and 04624181 thanks, i'm sending lots of buns over virtually!
I'm feeling tired today, half for a good reason – it was our 3rd wedding anniversary yesterday so my parents came down to look after Wiggle and DH and I went out for dinner last night. The other half is because Wiggle had us up at 5:30! He actually woke me up at 4:30 but he must have drifted off again until 5:30, me not so! Nevermind. My parents have just taken him out for a walk so i'm enjoying a very rare hour to myself with a cup of tea and a catch up on here. Although it is quiet here, I hope everyone is ok. pixtotts, newthrift, whitesatin, nicki, quidsy, pinknfluffy, mandco, Pinksteps, MoneyMission, Gettingtherequickly, lazysheep, nic, IrishRose, Mojoworking, aliaslotte, Ruth_Honey, Clumsy, babyboo and anyone else I have missed out (bad memory these days i'm sorry!) i'm thinking of you and hope you're all ok.
I don't have any major plans today, my parents are here this morning then I will just have to battle through this afternoon. I bought Wiggle some playdough yesterday and that kept him occupied for about 45 minutes, I only hope he loves it today as much as he did yesterday! Although it looks pleasant outside so might let him loose in the garden.
I had a real festive feeling come over me yesterday and found myself typing 'Christmas' on various shop websites to see what came up - there's still a suprising amount of things on sale from last year! Then I did what I said I wasn't allowed to do - go on Pinterest and browse all the Christmas things and pin lots of ideas! I'm trying to actually do some Pinterest things before keep pinning more but I always fail in the end!0 -

Belated birthday anni celebration Congrats/wishes to anyone I've missed.

I'm still reading princesskitty but like most other people I imagine I don't have much Christmassy going on here either. Have one last easter egg to eat which I refuse to eat before my OH has his last one (don't want to be the first to finish haha) so it just keeps looking at me when I walk into the kitchen.
Have given the grass the first cut of this year this morning since I took this week off work and it does make the garden look tidier, even though I've not done anything else!
I do always have christmas at the back of my mind though and have looked at a couple of things recently as possible ideas but wasn't sure enough to buy.
Hope everyone else is well an enjoying the sunshine when it appears0 -
Saw my consultant today - they're very happy with how everything went and with my progress since the op. The pain I'm getting is where they stitched the muscle but is normal so that's good. Unfortunately I will need chemo and I'm waiting now for an appointment to see the oncology consultant which should be a couple of weeks and then I'll find out more. Apparently they don't start until about eight weeks after surgery and it'll probably be over a six month period but will find out more later. Not the very best news but certainly not bad news and only to be expected really and the team all seem very positive about the eventual outcome so we will be too.
VULPIX you poor thing, I must say that's what I worry about too with painkillers especially the ibuprofen. Do we give ourselves ulcers or addict ourselves to codeine?
FREESPIRIT so sorry to hear the pain hasn't improved and hope the blood tests show something that can be treated to make it feel better for you. Constant pain is very wearing and makes you feel so low so well done you for bothering to read let alone post. Hope DD is ok - has she made a final decision about her op? Hope work aren't giving her extra pressure.
Lovely to see you popping in 0462 and MRSM.
PRINCESSKITTY those hot cross buns do look delish - love fruit ones but not allowed them at the mo so I'll have a choc chip one please if you make another batch
Apologies if I've missed anyone and big hugs to all that need them (that includes all you lurkers too). Good luck for Sunday and next week FEISTY, will be thinking of you. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Hi all,
Just a quick pop in. Sainsburys has their double up offer on their nectar points.
I went in last night and there was a load of knickers on sale- half price. I got 11 pairs for DD and with the sale price and double up they cost me............£6.50.
I also treated myself to some holiday pyjamas and a new top for DD. Came in at the grand total of £15.
I was so chuffed.
So that is her knicks done for Christmas.
Hugs and love to all
xxxxStart by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j

I hope you had a lovely anniversary?
I too am a nightmare for pinning! I spend hours on there and can probably count on one hand the amount of none recipe things I have made.Saw my consultant today - they're very happy with how everything went and with my progress since the op. I can't imagine the stress you are under, but take heart in the fact that they are positive about the outcome, most surgeons/doctors are close lipped about things like this unless they are very, very optimistic!
Any news on the results free?
Well DH is off to Newcastle tomorrow and as little Feisty has taken to trying to suffocate herself over-night in her crib, we are staying home as we have our pressure sensor on her cot at home which alerts us if she stops breathing and we can't take it with. I'm not looking forward to literally being left with the baby all week, but it's best to not take any risks.
I hope everyone else is well, it sure is quiet![/COLOR]2024 Challenges
