    Happy Easter everyone!

Weather hasn't been the best here - a mixture of sunshine and showers.

I'm just enjoying the opportunity of the short break from work.

Hope that you all enjoy the remainder of the Easter weekend. Don't eat too much chocolate!! :D

    Happy Easter one and all!!!

PRINCESSKITTY, sorry you didn't get your train trip with Wiggle. When we moved here eight years ago one of the first things we said we'd do was go on the train to Bedford because the scenery between here and there is lovely. Well we still haven't done it! Reading about your early start has made me feel tired - these days seven o'clock feels like the middle of the night to me lol. Ooh, when you move to Flitwick you can go to the forest centre at Marston Moretain, it's lovely for bike riding through the forest and round the lake - you can hire bikes too, even one with a little carriage thing behind for Wiggle.

VULPIX that's the problem with cutting back on pressies isn't it, it makes you feel awkward when other people don't stick to it. I love Monty Don and watch anything with him in it.

MRSINVISIBLE hope the fundraiser went well. My littlest DGS is in the process of being assessed although he's only two and a half. We're trying to learn makaton to encourage him to sign as he's non verbal and he seems to be taking to it now. I think I've always just assumed that children understand the world in the same way but I'm learning that they don't.

FREE I was watching one of the Place in the Sun type programmes and the woman on there had fybro and being somewhere warm and sunny had really lessened her symptoms - just an idea.........;) seriously though I hope we have a lovely summer and it might ease things for you too.

    I've just lost my post!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone asking after the Mr - we have to travel to Newcastle next Sunday for his 5 day stay in the transplant hospital and as it is 7 hours away and we all have to be there I'm dreading it.

Little lady is doing really well, 9 weeks old last Saturday! Here she is enjoying yesterday :)

Aw Feisty, she's gorgeous, where has the time gone? Will be thinking of you all while you're away and hoping that this may be the start of better things for DH.

Oh Feisty-how beautiful your little Miss is! I echo Peppa's sentiments regarding Mr F.

Had a quiet day today after the bloomin awful start to the day thanks to 'Katie', gales, snow and rock hard sleet whilst over the park with The Hound- and that's in Birmingham! Its cheered up now though and has been sunny(but chilly) this afternoon.

Hopefully everyone has had a chance to have some 'chill time 'over this weekend and be re- invigorated for the week to come xx
    lovin' this site!

  • vulpix oooh Canada will be here before you know it! That's one country i'd love to go to. Bargain with the coat!

freespirit i'm glad you managed to have a lovely day with your family.

Peppa ah I have heard of that forest centre, it sounds lovely from what you say. It's funny someone on here knows the area i'm moving to, most people look at me blankly when I tell them where i'm going! Or think the word 'Flitwick' is a funny one! I hope you're doing ok.

Fiesty little Fiesty is soooo cute!! Bless her. I can't believe it's nine weeks already! I'm sure it does seem overwhelming having to go up to Newcastle for DH's treatment, I hope that it all goes as smoothly as it can do and as with everything, you will come out the other side. Hopefully this will improve things for DH.

We had a nice day yesterday, we managed to get out for a walk in the sunshine in the morning before the torrential rain started. I also made hot cross buns for the first time ever:

    Hot%20cross%20buns_zpsby0w6iac.jpg

I made half of them fruit for DH and half of them chocolate chip for me! Notice there's one missing, I literally couldn't wait and had one warm from the oven! We then had a huge chicken roast dinner with all the trimmings. We stayed in this morning as the weather was horrid but took Wiggle to the park this afternoon and went to Zizzi's for tea, but whilst we were there DH started feeling poorly and is now in bed with a migraine! Hopefully it will pass quickly. I hope you've all managed to enjoy the long weekend.
  • Feisty, little lady looks so cute, she looks very tired. Princesskitty the hot cross buns look delicious. I don't like traditional hot cross buns I tried the ald! Chocolate and fudge ones they were delicious and I don't feel left out. Today was just a picking at food day, I had so much to eat yesterday. Had a family dinner, three courses and today I'm not hungry. But I do have room for my Easter egg:rotfl:

Got something for my mum for Christmas, a book of earrings that she keeps dropping hints about. Had a voucher code and free delivery so I have some budget left over to get something else for her.

morning, ChrissyG l did my training at the RVI too many years ago, funny tho' how just reading the name brings back memories instantly. l remember my stint at babies hospital on Leazes terrace, the fantastic surgeons and the fierce but brilliant sister there.
Feisty, little-miss is sooooooo lovely. Good luck to you and your lovely little family hope it all goes well.
Free, so glad you had a lovely day, crash is well deserved, there is nothing like the feeling of total tiredness that comes from pleasurable activities.
Princess Kitty, the hot cross buns look absolutely fantastic, l love all varieties of them, and have not stinted on my taste trials this year, but l am sure that yours would win hands down.
DGS is off to York Railway museum with his mum and dad today, in my car, as DDs wouldn't make the distance, so l am in hers if l need to go anywhere.
Murie, was it you who asked about China? l go to see my DS1,DDIL and my grandbabes.
