OK I will join the 'will do it at some point' gang- I have had the fabric to make some Kate Spade esq table runners for DD's birthday in July for AGES! I detest sewing so keep putting it off, but I hereby pledge that I will dig it out and make them..........................soon!!lovin' this site!

Murie,I had to google Kate Spade.
Well thats it then,I will have to finish these cushions which I started last June.I am making an inner cushion and filling with feathers from my Mums old sofa.Shame they are a different shape.I did one but all the feathers sink to the bottom, need to sew a shelf of fabric inside to help distribute the feathers.I will NEVER do anything with feathers again after this.
I have been to an art class tonight.Really enjoyed it.Mr V says I can put my picture on the fridge!
I have got nothing done today well with the exception of emulsioning 2 wicker baskets and a picture frame.Need to stop prating about making stuff off pinterest and get the paint on the walls!
Snow has gone.
Hope everyone is ok

Kate Spade is beautiful! I am doing a Kate Spade inspired birthday for DD (on the cheap!), got all the stuff before Christmas from ebay- sequin table cloths, cushions etc , the table runners are black and white stripe (well they will be when they are done lol!). I will use lots of pink flowers too and I have a gold glass paint pen to create dots on glasses etc. I brought some tissue paper pom poms in pink, black and white for £3.30- cant even buy the tissue paper for that! Pinterest was my friend when I was looking for ideas for it!
I was really lucky that she and her BF brought me a beautiful kate spade handbag for Christmas (as well as them chipping in to my kitchen aide). I am so blessed but am frightened to use it!
Free- I told my DS its no use having AL for holidays etc if he is too ill to appreciate it. I think at that age they underestimate the effect stress can have on their body and health. Sometimes you have to step back and see the bigger picture (yeah I know I am a fine one to talk lol)
Right, Im off to bed now- I have been sat at this keyboard for nearly 5 hours straight! My fingers are falling off and my eyes need holding open!

DH had his appointment at the chiropractors and it turns out his hips have misaligned. His left hip has dropped down, I didn't even know that could happen! So now he has to go for physio twice a week for five weeks and he can't pick Wiggle up at the moment. I am finding it quite tiring not having any help with Wiggle, especially as we don't live near our families, but we're muddling through and I know lots of people do it!
:bdaycake: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY murie and JJ! :bdaycake:
Peppapig I hope your assessment went ok and the next week goes quickly so you can get the operation over with.
freespirit your poor DD, it is such a lot to cope with. It makes me mad when I hear of people's work not being understanding, I just don't get it! I hope she does manage to get some rest in the 2 weeks off. I just cannot imagine how hard it is not being able to pick Thumper up, it must make her miserable. I hope she did stay in bed in the end! And I hope she gets a more competent doctor, it must be a relief to hear he's leaving. Yay for your DS, that's great news. I hope you are doing ok as well, how are you feeling now? How exciting for winning that competition, what lovely things to win! I've found a little bit of time to enter some competitions again recently, I used to enjoy doing that but haven't done much for ages. Someone I know recently won a Seat Ibiza!! You have also made me feel better – I bought a sewing machine over a year ago and was feeling guilty that I still haven't used it!
vulpix it's funny you say that, once DH is sorted out we are going to do yoga together in the evenings. I'm going to try to find a decent beginners DVD to do together.0
