Thank you all for your support over the past weeks, you have no idea how much it means to me. Going to bed now - have to be at hospital for 07:15 and having op during the morning so should be on the ward by late afternoon. All being well this time next week I'll be planning my return home. If I have wifi on the ward I'll be following the thread as soon as I can but if not I'll be back as soon as I get home. Take care everyone, see you very soon and thank you all again, you're a fab bunch. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Peppa, best of luck, thinking of you. l am off to the dentist in half an hour, just a scale, but l am such a wuss l have even taken a diazepam to relax me or else l wont be able to open my mouth. lt has always annoyed me that l am so weak on this that l did a 'fast phobia cure' course on it, cured the fear of spiders, but just touched on the dentist, so l may do another see if l can do it! Fave coz is taking me and holding my hand, so l know l will be ok and she wont let me back out0

Apparently "you have a petrol mower so won't get electrocuted" wasn't an appropriate response to him saying no to cutting the grass !:whistle:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Evening everyone, i am shattered tonight, i think dealing with this pain and putting a mask on has just taken its toll, but i know if i go to bed early i will be awake half the night! I did actually manage to clean the bathroom today which i was chuffed with, as housework has gone out the door just recently. DD2s physio has decided physio/two weeks rest isnt doing any good and she needs urgent care by a spinal surgeon  so she has luckily managed to get a private appt on saturday to see someone. DD1 has had some fab news, she has got a new job within her company, on a higher pay level so she is relieved and ecstatic, she has been promised so much and been let down so many times over the last 8 years that it is about time! I am so happy for her
PEPPAPIG have been thinking of you today hope everything went well xx
MRSINVISIBLE i hope the dentist wasnt too dreadful for you xx
BABYBOO hope you are well, how is your GC doing?
CHRISSY haha that is so funny!! Did you get the snow as forecast?

Snow,snow,snow,snow!
Chrissy G lol at lawn mowing.I have no clue with computers, using this now is like witchcraft to me!
Free, well done dd1,more good news for the family.
At last a glimmer of hope for your dd2.She is too young to be so incapacitated.I know from experience that because you are young they may not take your ailments seriously. She must stress she has a young child and how much it impacts on her whole life.My spine problems were from giving birth 25 years ago,It was only as I got older anyone took me seriously.
I think you are doing well to keep going with your pain.Good on you for cleaning the bathroom.Strange how something like that would make me feel better. If my house is a tip I feel out of sorts,Tidy house, tidy mind. Not that I actually like cleaning, just like it when it's done!I suppose it is early days since your diagnosis and it is such an individual ailment it will take time to tweak the meds.Hang on in there girlX
I am ready for Mothers day, bought MIL some washing powder and some savoury biscuits. My Mum some pontefract sweets.I am hosting lunch on Sunday for my Mum and dd1 is visiting. She is going to do some decorating for me.
Yesterday to avoid getting the sewing machine out I painted the French doors and a window in the kitchen. They are upvc wood colour.I bought special paint, they look soooooo different and they have only had one coat.I also made 5 felt cat tree ornaments for our Christmas craft stall, just hand sewn.
Art class last night.Interesting but it does feel like school and has highlighted the fact that I have no talent whatsoever.
Daughter off school today because the school is closed due to snow. She is walking to her friends in the next village to go sledging all day.I shall clean the house.
Hope you are ok Peppa x Love to allxxx:0 -
l have not cleaned my house, and it shows, the dust is thick enough to write in, the bins need emptied of yesterdays detritus, the floors are minging, the whole place looks like a padding can, and the windows are so bad l still need the lights on! or perhaps it would help if l cleaned my specs.
However, the garden has had my attention instead, and all the litter, dead leaves, brave weeds and grot have been dealt with, now l may sit and ponder whats next, then make a list ,and get out the timer. Or l may get a phone call inviting me out for the day........well, a girl can dream.
Art class sounds fun, Vulpix, and, after all, who defines talent ? The sun is shining on the washing on the line, and it is blowing just a breeze enough to dry it all, (then, oh, bu@@er it needs ironing, eeeeuch). Have a lovely weekend all, don't forget to alter your clocks for tomorrow.xx0
