Lol Freespirit, roller derby is a bit mental, but I just love being on wheels. A good film to watch is Whip it, gives you a good insight to what it's like. My Derby name is Rollertink 2075

Afternoon everyone,
:bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY MURIE :bdaycake:
Thankyou for your lovely messages ladies, it means a helluva lot to me x I have had Thumper and DD2 the last couple of days as she has been signed off for 2 weeks to try and get this back problem sorted, but her work are causing her a lot of stress, i went into TIGER MUM mode yesterday and wanted to ring her blooming boss and give him what for i was flipping steaming, but of course i cant she is nearly 25........ :rotfl:she still has so much on her plate, the two health problems she is trying to sort are taking it out of her, still not being able to do housework or pick up thumper, their roof, and work on top of all that! I really thought the two weeks would help her de stress but after yesterday with work ringing her im not so sure, and then she left here and smacked into someone from behind at a junction :eek: she said it was totally her fault she thought they had pulled out, but the weird thing is they never stopped they just drove off!!!! She has physio today so i have told her to just have a day in bed afterwards, seen as Thumper is at nursery. DS saw the dr and she said his peak flow meter was lower than what it should have been but not low enough to be asthma, she offered him an inhaler but he doesnt think he needs one, so thats good, he has been promoted at work (something good at last) and plus is also standing in for his boss for someones maternity leaveso he is very tired but very happy!!
MURIE i hope everything is ok i have noticed you havent been on for a while my lovely xx
MANDCO aww thumper is into everything yeshis latest thing is crawling with his eyes tightly shut
its a nightmare but soooo funny!! He is so so close to walking! Im so sorry you still have this horrible virus some of them just seem to hang around for far too long!! :bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY :bdaycake:not sure if you have had it but hope you had a lovely day!
PRINCESSKITTY yes she asks for another dr now, she has put in a formal complaint about him, and was actually told by one of the staff in confidence that he is actually leaving soon, so i dont think it is just DD who has had bad experiences with him. Oh your poor DH its so painful and a shock when it goes just like that, i hope he is recovering well and the pain is starting to go!!
NIC yes i cant believe we are already nearly into March  it seems to be flying by:eek:! Oh i will look out for that filmIm too much of a wuss to do anything like that but good for you!!! How are you feeling now? How is work?
PEPPAPIG i hope the pre op goes well today, roll on next wednesday and get it over with for you, you must feel in such limbo atm, sending you lots and lots of hugs my lovely xx
NEWTHRIFT hello and hope you are well

peppa, free is right,it is like being in limbo waiting for the op,but this time next week it will be done.xxxxxxxxxxx
Pk I hope your husbands back is sorting itself out.I think the best thing a young person could do for their health is eat right and be the right weight.I have pushed my daughter into yoga classes.I went for years and it is the best excersise.
Free well done your son on his promotion,a positive step for the family.Sounds to me like your poor daughter is on her knees with it all,she could do with a good rest by the sound of things.I am so glad you have posted,I need to read your posts to keep me up to speed with everyone.
Mrs M,I went to my craft club yesterday for the first time in ages.It has given me the push to get going again.I started to make some Christmas cat ornaments for our craft stall.I went to Mums this afternoon for a zip to fix my trousers and some buttons for cat eyes. She gave me a bag of assorted felt, vintage felt is such good quality.I found a felt needle case in it that I made at primary school. It has my initials embroidered on it.I am going to use it after a 45 year rest!My plan is to use up lots of Mums stash which is considerable and have a craft stall at Christmas.I also need to get on with my UFO's.unfinished objects.I also need to stop looking on Pinterest!
love to all xx:0 -
Evening everyone, i had to nip out to HB tonight, omg it was freezing! DD1 had to keep putting my heated seat on high, i really am getting old :rotfl:I forgot to mention in all my misery that i won a competition on twitter last week and won a signed Carole Matthews book, some wax melts, posh tea bags and a special edition Chocolate Lovers Club chocolate bar, it made my week!
VULPIX haha you have made me giggle with what you said about keeping up! Hopefully i am back on here for good now and no absencesI love the story about your felt needlecase, ooh you sound as if you are going to have lots of fun going through your DMs stash and deciding what to make with it all
I have a sewing ufo that has sat in my wardrobe for 3 years  and its one of the easiest things to make....... bunting!! It is on my list of to dos this year!!
