  • CHRISSYG that's awful – they can't just run a clinical trial on your DD and not tell you what it's about first! People have a right to decide if they want to partake in a clinical trial or not, you should definitely be complaining!

murie oh bless your DS, it can't have been an easy decision. Valentines is one of those days where it can be really good for people or really bad! DH and I don't really do anything for Valentines, I might cook a nice meal, We don't do presents as we really don't think it's necessary for us, but I thought the Grandparents might like a little card! Also my Grandma as my Grampy passed away a few years ago and I know she gets lonely. I know what you mean, i'd be worried driving a car with a big crack in the windscreen! How is your DH getting on in his new job?

freespirit oh your poor DD, I can't imagine how hard it is with a toddler, i'm always having to pick Wiggle up. I really hope they can do something for her.

04624181 I hope you and DD feel better soon.

The Valentines cards are nearly done, Wiggle has been “colouring in” the heart on the front, aka scribbling everywhere as well as the laminate floor! Other than that life is going on as normal, we are getting close to exchanging on our new house and then we'll have to get on with our sale too. Which means I need to get on with the de-cluttering! Got a really nice playgroup at the church to go to this morning, where Wiggle loves to run off and play and I can actually sit and have a cup of tea and a cake – bliss!

BabyBoo- its good to see from you agaiee said, Im glad to see that you are on the mend now, hopefully you have turned the corner now. How is DH doing and of course your lovely little DGD?

Free- they said its going to take a max of 10 days to get the screen in- I just cant see why! Its not a limited edition so should be readily available. Its really icy her this morning so DD has decided to get the lecture online rather than risk driving to Uni with that crack. DS is coping but he said he needed to do it as they had become friends more than anything else. He has a long weekend off this week so he's off out with one of his mates for a catch up and to a farmers market on Saturday that he has been itching to go to but never coincides with his weekends off. In short- he is keeping active! Plus he has picked up his running again, along with DD.

Princesskitty- bet wiggle loves colouring in! As far as the laminate- theres always floor cleaner! DD was forever drawing and colouring when she was little, walls, books, herself! We have always celebrated Valentines, I used to do the kids a little valentines tea when they were small and they would decorate the table etc, then DH and I would have a takeaway when they had gone to bed. Must be working cus we have been married 30 years this year! (I cannot believe that number!! Makes me feel soo old and Im only 50!)

  • Hello there! Bit on the nippy side this morning. Was quite surprised that the car needed to have a bit of defrosting done, when I say bit, the only bit of ice on it was the near side of the windscreen, how it happened that way I have no idea, rest of the car was completely clear, very bizarre.

Been busy for the last week so everything at home is falling behind, I am simply keeping up with things as they happen, goodness know when I am going to get to hoover! Managed to get a couple of tops for Christmas & birthdays and a few bits for myself in New Look, grand cost of £30, about 1/3 of original so happy.

Met a friend for dinner last night, she had to blow me out before Christmas, so it was our Christmas night out. Had a good gossip & exchanged gifts (nice getting one late!) OMG, she gave me a purse, now I know she works for the company so would have mates rates, but think Royal Warrant, lifetime guarantee, made to order and you can guess the retail cost. How lucky am I, especially as I "only" gave her a personalised slate cheese board?:o

Sorry to hear about those who are ill and having to deal with stupid people. Assuming that things are happening in the Feisty household, can't wait to hear that bump has safely arrived.

  • Morning everyone,

    :bdaycake:HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLUMSY :bdaycake:

Just popped on as DS just had drs appt, chest x ray was clear (thank god) dr thinks its either a blockage in the airways or asthma so he has to go back to see a nurse and do a peak flow test?? I am quite surprised as its not in the family and i didnt realise it can just start. DS as ever with his sharp wit said "as if i am not nerdy enough" :rotfl:

PRINCESSKITTY well its even worse cos the little monkey isnt even walking yet :D he stands alone which he thinks is brilliant and we all cheer and wave our hands like mad people which he loves, but now he has started doing it in front of the dog expecting the dog to cheer and wave :rotfl:aww the grandparents will love wiggles art. Things are moving pretty quickly with the house that is fab!

MURIE glad DD decided not to drive then if it is icy, and glad DS is keeping busy and getting out and about that is the best thing to do

GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY ooh the purse sounds fab, what a lovely friend :D

    Hi lovely people.

I got out Saturday just gone. I did have the surgery of my choice and thankfully it has helped. Don't get me wrong I am still in a lot of pain I think I always will be but this way means less invasive check ups ect. I am the 14th person in the Uk to have this type of shunt (Originally before the other one got infected I was the 6th person in the UK) Eventually the company are hoping to make a phone app that works with the shunt to show malfuctions ect its all very clever.

On the flip side although this surgery done me some good it caused a lot of problems by triggering my epilepsy. One of the seizures happened when I was in the bathroom apparently I hit the railings by toilet on the way down smashing lip and nose. When I woke up and saw the suction box by the bed it was almost all filled with blood:( Luckily on a super high dose of two types of anti convulsants the seizures have eased. I have tried having a quiet relaxing week out of hospital but I am struggling. I just love doing things and being on the go!

Anyway going to write out a Xmas list for this year along side birthdays. I need to be more organised! Been signed off till the end of Feb then I guess I should look for another job!

    Hugs to all. x

  • Yayyy! Welcome back Jess. Glad you are feeling a bit better than you were. Hopefully you will be to get the epilepsy under control so that you can enjoy the benefits of the surgery and you can continue being such an inspiration to all. x

Msgigglewick - well done on the exercise this week!

Murie – Hope autoglass sort her soon!!! Mac & cheese, I’m not a fan either so your no longer alone haha.

M&Co – Love that! You could go:- full name, age, date of birth, place of birth, son, love, any nickname you have for him or his mates possibly, hobbies (eg. Xbox, football), favourite drink (alcoholic or otherwise :D:o ), favourite sports team. Hope that helps :)

Free - :rotfl: serves the bogger right!!

Princesskitty – Enjoy your tea and cake time :) I have been inspired by your spreadsheets and have started one for my income/spending and will be doing one for presents too. Thank you!

GTQ – Purse sounds wonderful :)

JJ – Sorry about all the problems you have had following surgery but glad you got what you wanted! Try your best to take it easy.

I'm slowly keeping up with getting on (almost) every day! I need to get my morning routine and everything back again, my get up and go had got up and gone this year it feels  :( it is starting to come back a little...anyway...
Did anybody see Sugar Free Farm on ITV the other night? I've now got it on series link as really enjoyed watching it. and Arg from TOWIE is hilarious on it.
Off to the opening of a new The White Stuff with my mum tonight after work, although i will be trying to resist buying anything.

:bdaycake: Happy birthday Clumsy :bdaycake: Hope you had a lovely day.

JJ Great to 'hear' from you. Hope that you continue to improve.

Freespirit I can never do the 'peak flow' test - always get a low reading. Nothing invasive - just blowing into tube which measures lung capacity.
A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.
