Peppa- words are inadequate, but my heart goes out to you that you've had such bad news and then to lose your little dog in that way xx. Please please keep in touch- use us as a release valve if you need it. Hopefully there will be better news after the MRI.

Peppa- I am glad you have come on and told us because we will support you as much as we can without actually being there in person xx Im sure it must of been a complete shock and I can only imagine what you and your family must be going through xx Will keep you in my prayers xx

nic2075- I turn 40 in June too, I will be honest and tell you my diet is to shift the pounds! But it is so I can create a positive image for my children- dd who is 5, ds who is 13. I do not want to be stick thin and I do not complain about being a larger lady but I want to create a healthier lifestyle for my children. I have joined the gym and the kids have kids memberships too. I want to encourage them to make exercise part of their everyday lives.

vulpix- sounds like you had a great time in Amsterdam.
murie- poor hubby, I feel for him as a slipped disc is painful although men do usually take full advantage of a situatuion of being ill or in pain. I herniated my disc twice and I would rather be in constant labour than the pain
freespirit66- youtube is wonderful! If i need to know anything I call on Google or Youtube lol x

Well DD is back in school today, she seems ok. She is booked back in drs for thursday to make sure the ear infection has gone. I have appointment at ENT on weds due to me having recurring ear and sinus infections that are not responding to antibiotics. I end up losing my hearing whenever I get an ear infection too. Have had a dose of vertigo with this last ear infection over the weekend too. It has been like that since I had 2 CSF leaks when I had spinal surgery 2 years ago. It makes me wonder is it more CSF related than an actual ear infection!

Managed to order my DD and DS some new clothes in the sale.
I am trying to have a major clear out but illness is playing havoc with my schedule lol x
I am carless tomorrow so I am having a day cleaning, clearing and cooking. oh the joys xx Big hugs to everybody who needs them xx Fiesty I hope you are ok and all is well xx

Peppapig - I'm glad you posted as at least you can vent on here when you need to without having to take it out on your family, who I am sure will also be just as confused and upset by the news. Use everyone you can for support and don't be afraid to say when you need help. Dodgy hug time :grouphug: :rotfl:

On a (slightly) Christmas-related note, I was watching some programs I had recorded in December and I'm getting to watch all of the Christmassy adverts again :D

  • Hi all

Freespirit, I gave up on the sains order as the cheapest delivery slot I could find was £6.95. By the time that was added on I can do the shop cheaper elsewhere.

Peppapig, That must have been a shock for you and it will take time for you to come to terms with the diagnosis. Please talk to people. Don't bottle it up. I wish you well for your further results. Hugs to you for your dog too. It is so sad when we lose a pet.

I am on holiday this week and I have had a lovely time just reading books and catching up on some tv off the planner. Obviously, I have cleaned and cooked but it has been so relaxing because everyone else is at work. Sadly though, I havent had a late morning as I wake before the 3 alarms go off, one for my DH and one each for the kids. Then they start in and out of the bathroom, the boiler starts humming and clunking and they all keep telling each other to “Ssssh….Mam is off work. Don't wake her….” Then there is the usual up and downstairs trek, sounding like the herd of elephants from the Jungle Book…….
I remain in bed and pretend I am still asleep till they all leave then I have been staying put and reading for a couple of hours…..So delicious

Hugs to all who need them

    xxx
Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible:j
Christmas is not a time but a state of mind :xmassmile
Trying.....Very trying- as my DH would say
    Loving de-cluttering
