Evening, not much to say really been in pain for the last few days i have had this about 4 times in the last couple of years, and it takes a good few days to be able to walk properly so really fed up atm!
PEPPAPIG hope today went as well as it can do, was thinking of you x
NITNURSE omg no i dont blame you i never pay more than £3 most of the time i pay £1 and have a late delivery but im a tightwad like thatHope the rest of your week off was good!
PRINCESSKITTY yes my mum and stepdad both developed asthma late on in their 50s actually now you say that, my mums was when they moved to wales and lived virtually on a mountain and had damp/mist all the time! I know what you mean about spending half your life online its such a waste but before you know it hours have gone by! Hope you had a good couple of days at your parents and wiggle slept ok in the travel cot
MONEYMISSION well done on your passing of your assignment, i use the command strips too they are fab arent they!!
CHRISSY aargh they will all be gone by the time i can get out, but thankyou for posting that! How is DD?
MURIE oh thats a shame DH isnt too happy but at least he has something and can still look around at the same time, how is his back now? He is still waiting to see the nurse, sometime next week it is, trouble is he has to speak on the phones most of the day and he cant even get the first sentence out without hacking awayFingers crossed for DDs windscreen
NEWTHRIFT i feel a bit like that about christmas atm, i think its because i bought DD2 a TSabo bracelet in the sales last Jan for this christmas just gone and it has broke and im not sure if guarantee would still be valid so im a bit wary of buying too early now  Although i did buy a couple of pairs of Disney PJs from HB for Thumper at the weekend
VULPIX hope you feel better soon, that sounds nasty! I have lost my mojo a bit about buying presents i need it back SOON!! Glad the flooring is down and you are happy with it, nearly there now!!

Been busy all day and tomorrow's looking the same.
Just wanted to say there are a lot of people on this thread who are spending a great deal of time in my thoughts. I hope that situations I mprove and treatments mean health issues and illnesses start to also improve.
Hugs to all that need them. You are in my thoughts.SPC~12 ot 124

Thank you all so much for your lovely words, it really does mean a lot. The CT scan went well today although of course they don't tell you the results but there were no side effects from the dye they inject into you. It was quite funny because they warn you that when the dye goes round your body you feel a hot flush and when it hits your bladder you feel like you've had a little accident. They were so right and I was really pleased they warn you in advance lol. Afternoon with the DGSs tomorrow then MRI on Saturday.
Haven't had the heart yet to clear Bonnie's things away but I think I'll know when the time is right.
LAZYSHEEP, I watched some Criminal Minds we'd recorded before Christmas today and it was really weird to see the Christmas ads.
FREE I do hope the pain eases up quickly and you can get about properly.
VULPIX woo hoo for the floor. Aren't we funny getting excited about skirting boards but I'd be exactly the same. I keep eyeing up our plain walls and wondering if it isn't time to add some pattern.
NEWTHRIFT that's the best way to have snow for me, nice and white and then disappears without trace. I hate it when it turns to grey slush. We had a little bit a few weeks ago and I got all excited but it had all gone by lunchtime.
MONEY MISSION congrats on the assignment score - 75 is very good indeed.
PRINCESSKITTY you're so right, even though we don't know each other in the 'real' world (was very tempted to be cool and put IRL there lol) this really does feel like a little family even if I do have trouble keeping all the happenings with their rightful owners.
Glad to be back among you all again but I've done what I always do and forgotten to make notes as I go through so apologies if I've missed anyone. Note to self - MUST DO BETTER!It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
Morning all
Hugs peppa, I'm glad the scan went ok and wasn't too bad. I hope you get the results explained properly ASAP and you are given support and help with the treatments you need to get you through this. XSPC~12 ot 124

Hi all,
Peppapig-so glad the scan went well. Thinking of you xx
mrs moneypenny-hope you are ok xx
freespirit66- hope you are ok, I hope the pain gets less for you. Have you done something out of the ordinary or is it a flare?
Vulpix-great to hear about your floor, it must look fab x I could brew up at the paint party lol
newthrift-OOOh wedding photos, exciting xx Its like reliving the day again x
murie- fingers crossed for your dd windscreen being fixed.
Well had appt at ENT and found out I have hearing loss. Shocked was an understatement! im 39! The audio test triggered vertigo symptoms so they could not finish test. Saw the consultant and he said my ear drum is fine, no infection so its got to be inside. Thinks it may be a CSF leak causing low pressure or something to do with my vestibular??? Anyway I have got to have a brain scan and ear scan! had loads of MRI scans on my back but never brain. think it may be a cat scan but not sure x Will wait until the appt comes through. He wants me scanned and back to see him within 6 weeks x
anyway onwards and upwards, no point stressing unless I have to. Got my order from soccer sports and am happy with the small converse bags. The girls bags are better. The boys converse bags are tiny and are more like a clip on large keyring size x will be ok filled with pens, sweets etc for birthday gift x
Big hugs to all xx0 -
Well, best laid plans and all that! Not been here as planned as had been a bit bleugh, like most females, I don't do ill, but have felt miserable all week, vertebrae pressing on nerve, so although ok in mornings the pressure builds up during the day so just want to try & sit comfortably in the evening, or at least try & find a way.
However, Peppa, it put it all into perspective when I read your post, I truly hope that everything goes well for you. I know we can yack a bit, but you know that silence from us is simply us thinking about those who are not feeling the best and willing good things towards them. And this includes Jess, Free, Vulpix.
Have checked in for my flight to Madrid! Really excited, not been there before, and have a bargain 5 days there. All we have to do now is go through the travel books and plan the touristy bits. Think I may need to eat veggie, allergic to pork so won't take the risk of inadvertently eating it. Got to plan packing carefully as only taking hand luggage, so far the only things I have definitely planned is buying a cheap pair of trainers which I will wear there, will be walking alot so need comfort in my old age! I will then bin them when leaving, so will only need space for one pair of shoes and maybe a pair of sandals. Also read once that when going away, to take underwear that you need to get rid of rather than new. That way, as you are chucking in bin, you are getting rid and don't have dirty underwear to take home - what a great idea! Just need to work out what sort of clothing I need. Seeing my friend tomorrow, so we can start planning

Good morning [just]
My poundshop.com order arrived yesterday and although no major issues I probably won't order from them again , The XL t shirts would look tight on a size 10 person ! I didn't expect much quality wise but I had hoped they would be a better size. The other items were mostly ok but nothing that would get me to bother with them again.
My DD is doing ok she is still having her meds increased every 2 weeks and it makes her very tired for a few days but she is coping well , she did have a seizure a few days ago but it was over so fast it was an incredible difference. We go to the hospital next week to have her implant read and to start the ball rolling to have it removed.
We have almost got her birthday sorted just her main gift and the Harry potter tickets to get .After that I can concentrate on Christmas and look for suitable things for her trip to Australia next year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Firstly I just want to send great big hugs to Peppa, I'm thinking of you my lovely xxxxxx
I'm sorry for anyone else I may have missed, but I'm 6+ pages behind and don't have a hope in catching up now! So hugs and well wishes to all that may need them!
Our little pickle arrived on Saturday 23rd January at 12.21pm. Her name is Eleanor and she weighed just under 5.4lbs and so we had to stay in hospital for 6 days until they were confident she was gaining weight. It has been a huge whirlwind and I don't think I was anywhere near prepared for the lack of sleep and over-whelming responsibility that comes with a newborn, but she is worth it. I know we are biased, but we think she is blooming gorgeous![/COLOR]2024 Challenges
