OMG huge congratulations FEISTY, little Eleanor Fidget is gorgeous! So glad she arrived safe and sound and you're definitely not biased, she's totally lovely. I hope DH's hospital visits/stay have a hugely positive impact on his health and you can enjoy your little family to the full.

JJ I just love the casual way you talk about being put into a coma and rushed to another hospital - your posts really do put things in perspective. Glad you're home again now and we'll done on getting your mum's Mother's Day card. I hope you all have a fabulous Christmas on Valentine's Day.

Congrats on your new roof MRS I - and well done on the decorating, hope you haven't duffed yourself.

0462 sorry to hear (sorry) about your news - hope the scans show something that can be sorted. Will you be able to improve it with a hearing aid?

VULPIX why is it that we always meet people like that at a time that we really don't need it? Just remember it wasn't personal, you just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time (or rather she did).

NIC sorry hear about your hands. My DH has carpel tunnel (amongst all his other ailments) and wears a cuff thing at night which he says really does help with the pins and needles. Hope the doc is able to improve things for you.

Thanks again to everyone for your good wishes and support.
On the medical front I had the MRI today and yesterday had a call from the hospital to say that the consultant has a personal emergency which means he can't do my colonoscopy on Wednesday so they're going to do it on Monday instead. Must admit I'm a bit puzzled what emergency will keep him busy on Wednesday but free on Monday and suspect he may have a day of golf planned lol. Anyway, it's good news because it will be over sooner but not so good cos I will be on 24 hour fast tomorrow instead of having my planned roast dinner! Plus I have less time before drinking the foul liquid again ha ha.

Good Morning folks, normal service is resumed.Back to my usual self.

As has been said JJ's trials certainly help put things in perspective.(hats off to you girl)My trouble is that I feel responsible for everyones health and happiness. Not just my family but nasty old ladies in shops with personality disorders!I cannot please everyone.

Can't remember who said " Eleanor Fidgit".That amused me,small things eh.

Today is Chinese New Year in our house.I have been chipping away at the banana boxes stacked at the bottom of the stairs which contain stuff from my old kitchen.I have found my fantastic red dragon tablecloth which I was given years ago by an old lady.Randomly a paper dragon which I have never seen before and red drinking glasses.I am going with beef n green pepper and chicken chilli things with salt n pepper chips, some noodles and rice.DD2 is going to make a gingerbread house kit for pudding! The older kids kept raving about salt n pepper chips from the take away and they are lovely.Same for masarla chips its the future! and I dont even like chips!

Better get on.Hung Hey fat Choy.xxx

Eleanor Fidget made me smile too, it sounds really cute.

Had a busy weekend bag packing at Tesco for dancing fundraising. House work today then a few afternoon board games with the kids. I'm still not sleeping right, so will be in bed early tonight I reckon. I have a few messages to run before work tomorrow morning. This always stresses me out as it its out my morning routine.

I did do something Christmassy the other day. I got 2 jars of mincemeat reduced to 30p dated August 2017. So that's me sorted for mince pies lol.

Had a lovely day taking my friends little one to the sea side , was chilly but we still walked on the beach , threw stones in the water , went to indoor play , the arcades then dinner! When you stand on the sea side no matter the weather and see the waves crashing and stones glistening , I don't know just so relaxing. Some of the best things in life are free if you can connect with them. Going to have to start uni revision soon as my exams ( I have missed twice due to hospital stays ) are the first of the June and I want to ace them if possible! (I am not the sharpest tool in the shed lol)
Hope you are all good! x

Oooo yess a relaxing stroll along a beach,I am with you on that one.I live at a point in the country which is the furthest you can be from the shore.I think a day to the coast could be just the thing at half term.

Thank you all for your kindness. You are all right.Trouble is i can give advice but don't practice what i preach. So after a day being upset and making friends with Mr V I am back on track. It has been stressful with the renovations and my op.There is light at the end of the tunnel now.

Love to all and families. Vxxxxxx
