You can ask murie but I have a memory like a sieve:rotfl:
I'm sure the middle duller one was from will last year the I believe bell came in a lovely presentation box with a poem and was from a bookseller box in the staff room at work the 2large silver ones with red bows were possibly B&q ?
Sorry I can't be more exact:oSPC~12 ot 124

Ooh FREE your drinks station is fab and I love the idea of the Tassimo discs in the wire baskets. Need a pic of the tree now.
PATENTGIRL sorry to hear about your poor Dad but glad he's now home and close enough for you to keep an eye on him.
MURIE love the tree with the cat peeping through. That's a good solution to the problem of what to buy DH. I've been toying with the idea of buying a bale of hay or two for rescue donkies (that doesn't look right, maybe it's donkeys) so could do that as an extra virtual pressie for DH.
FRANALAMADINGDONG your flamingoes would fit well n my tree, they could go with my sparkly pink deer.
VULPIX had to laugh at you being trapped in your bedroom lol. It must be really exciting now seeing it all coming together. You are indeed a very naughty VULPIX buying more decs - if I see any more I like I shall be joining you and will be a bad Peppa!
MANDCO my DD is doing a similar thing with a Father Christmas behavioural chart with DGSs. Not sure how well it's working as littlest DGS is changing nurseries after Christmas as he'll be going to the one at the village school now he's three. It's the school he'll go to when he's older and where other DGS is but DD isn't sure if he's being difficult because he knows change is coming.
Am a bit annoyed with Tesco. I normally have my shopping delivered (was supposed to avoid places like supermarkets while having chemo because of the infection risk) and pay £1 for a flexible slot. The week before Christmas the slots are suddenly £7 each! I bet the delivery drivers won't be getting any more than usual either. I'm going to have a delivery on 19th (last day for cheap slots) and get any fresh stuff I need from somewhere else!
Had a lazy day today but it's been nice so hopefully will get the Christmas cards written tonight - DH got me a book of stamps this afternoon so I should be able to get them posted tomorrow. I've started to panic a bit about the turkey. Although we're having dinner at my sister's I'll be doing the turkey and some of the veg so I need to get on and decide where it's coming from. I'm hoping to visit a few shops tomorrow and I thought I'd give Lidl a look as they have free range turkeys. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
mrs moneypenny- snap my memory is terrible too! Let me know who 'will ' is and I will ask him where he got the bell from lol x
Free- thast looks lovely- peanut butter hot choc???! Mmmn
Peppa- he is a little devil (cat not DH!), he lurks under the tree and its more than a little disconcerting when you are sitting there and feel eyes on you!lovin' this site!

For those who have Sky, you might like Extreme Christmas Trees which is just finishing on TLC (125) but will be on TLC+1 (154) at 9pm and TLC+2 (200) at 10pm or catch up later 🎄0

Hi.
love the jumper plumduff. I am in awe of knitters. I have recently knitted a blanket for a dolls cot and am so proud of it. A square of stocking stitch. It will be a long time before I am up to your standard.
Welcome back patent girl. its's good that your dad is home in time for Christmas.Full speed ahead with it all now.
I have so enjoyed all your photo's.I will inundate you with pics of my makes and perhaps decs on Sunday when my daughter visits. She will get all the boxes out of the loft and we can spend the afternoon seeing what will go where for the first time in this house. It will take hours and we actually don't have hours on Sunday as we are going out to a brass band Christmas concert in a cave! Sounds strange but I am told it's fantastic.
The decorator is having a day off tomorrow. He is doing a fantastic job,it looks amazing.Well compared to what it was like anything would be an improvement. He just has another 2 coats of gloss to do and will finish Friday.
I spent the day cleaning the kitchen today with the door shut and the radio on but he could still talk the hind leg off a donkey, when he isn't whistling. I will have to go out on Wednesday, anywhere for a break. He tires me out.
Thursday i am going to Chester with my friend from down south. She has never been before. There is a Christmas tree festival in the cathedral and a Christmas market and a winter mummers parade. We shall have lunch and a good wander and Mr V can listen to the decorator holding forth.
I have written a small number of cards and managed to distribute some at the party yesterday. A few have been posted the rest in the car for when we are passing their destination.
So apart from fresh veg, salad and cream etc I am ready.Bring it on !

Murie what a lovely gift idea. And oh my goodness your cat is so cute!!!
Parent girl, hope your dad goes from strength to strength and is home soon.
Peppa. I think I need to see your tree now! Mine is woodlandy hence flamingos being in the kitchen (with my flamingo wallpaper). Apparently she's bought me more decorations! I've put out fewer this year, but they all tie together.
My tree is up... Another 2 branches bit the dust. I might get myself a new one in the sales after Christmas. This one keeps dropping it's needles despite being artificial and was secondhand to us 4 Christmases ago. I have finally sewn myself a tree skirt. I've cut the offcuts into strips and I'm making one of those raggy wreaths. Waste not want not! I've wanted one of those wreaths for a while too, but didn't want to shred fabric just for it.0 -
Morning. Thanks for the Christmas tree comments
I've finally added my Liberty baulbles the other day so need to photo it again.
In finding it hard keeping up to date/replying to everyone via my phone as I'm reliant on memory which at the moment is shocking haha!
The reindeer crafts all look amazing, you are seriously all so talented! My cousin is coming across next week with her little boy and we are going to have a craft day, so I might have to think of something for this months one, am I right it is Christmas? (The theme I mean haha)!
Time really is rocking along. Presents are nearly all wrapped and I know the handful I'm missing - few more than I thought but never mind.
Peppa - I think it's disgusting how they jump the delivery costs up, as you say I doubt the drivers receive anymore.
Vulpix - Enjoy the concert in the cave, I bet it sounds amazing!!
Free - love the coffee and hot choc station
Patentgirl - hope your dad goes from strength to strength and is back home soon.
Right my memory is out for now so apologises for those I've missed. Hope everyone is ok xChristmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:
Mum to two boys :heartpuls0 -
Forgot to say Murie, your cat is beautiful.Pets and Christmas trees don't always get on.I had a cat who used to flick baubles off and bat them around on the laminate floor in the middle of the night! We took them all off to half way, must have looked like Chrissey's tree.
A couple of years ago we had to host DD1's house rabbit,he loved hiding in the tree.He did however nearly kill himself by chewing through the wire for the lights.
I must be getting really old,I am enjoying being home in the quiet so much.I will potter and do a touch of wrapping today and clean the inside of the windows. Vx:0
