    Happy 1st December everyone

    Wonderful makes everyone

This months craft challenge will be .......

    Christmas Tree

    :xmastree:
  • Ooh good news even if it is a bit gross GTQ! You'll have them gone in no time!

Good news that the line is out peppa, lovely to have a break over Christmas from having to go in.

I've never used Park and I'm glad if they just roll you to the new year without asking. Glad you got them sorted Chrissy!

Free sounds like you need a hot chocolate to defrost yourself!

I've started my crafting this afternoon after finishing wrapping my gifts. Not sure if it will count as Christmas tree... I hope so as I'm making it anyway. Being off sick is so boring for me, especially as I don't need to be near the bathroom anymore.

Hi everyone, today has been spent cleaning. Christmas is so close now, if I have enough energy later I am going to do some wrapping. Need to find my christmas cards too x
mrs- Moneypenny- You are very talented xxx
GTQ- oh no, well at least you have been honest.
newthrift- hope you ok and manage to get our christmas decs up xx
LMG- There are just not enough hours in the day. We love Arthur Christmas too, I have not watched National Lamppons christmas vacation in years! I am going to try and watch it later whilst doing some wrapping x
Peppapig- Loving the craft, I think they look fantastic. How is the tree looking? Great news about your PICC line being removed. All systems go for an amazing christmas for you and your family xx
Free - I love the reindeer, too cute. I spent yesterday getting my elf things ready. DD first tooth fell out too so she woke up to the elves and a gift from the tooth fairy this morning xx Any pics of your hot chocolate station?
vulpix- It will all be worth it when it is done. I will post my pics as soon as I get a minute.
murie- love the reindeer craft, it looks lovely xx
pinksteps- thanks for the info on scratchcards x
creativegal- sounds like you had a fab night out. Wow how nice to have alot of treats from your friend, what a lovely surprise
cherry24- magic crackers sound fab, sure to keep people entertained between courses
chrissyg- how cheeky of park! are they even allowed to do that?
franalamadingdong-im sure your craft will be lovely, glad you managed to get your wrapping done.
  • Murie thank you so much for the absolutely beautiful card I recieved from you today, it is lovely and has taken pride of place.
hope everyone is as well as can be, I put my window stickers up tonight and the fairy light net in our bedroom window so feeling really Christmassy.

Newthrift- saw your tree on IG- it looks lovely.
Framalamadingdong- your DS sounds like a lovely caring boy, hope you are recovered now.
Peppa- the reindeers look just perfect, for some reason I thought thy were smaller than that. Were they fiddly to make? (Glad the PICC line didn't give you any grief on its way out x)
    GTQ- hooray! One down..
04624181 - are we going to show our challenges before Christmas this time or after?
Creativegal- what a lovely friend you have
Free- do you have sprinkles at your hot choc station? I love sprinkles!
Mrs Moneypenny- you are welcome- it was the card I made for the stocking challenge. I am envious of anyone who can sew /knit etc and you are/were a 'professional' so I am doubly envious!

Chrissy- Park have got a nerve doing that without your request. Ouch as Peppa says abut the car bill x

My wrapping is well under way now I'm relieved to say- I had been putting it off for ages. I still haven't quite decided how to decorate the special presents- I have some glorious rose gold (its supposed to be copper but looks more rose gold) foil paper and I wanted to use navy ribbons etc but I cant find any. I don't want to use black which would go beautifully but I don't think black is right for Christmas, so Im stuck on a contrasting colour. Any ideas anyone......?
    lovin' this site!

Good Morning Everyone, only 23 sleeps until Christmas!:j
Going to finish off a little Christmas shopping today and then need to prepare for a Christmas craft/games evening at church, so excited. Think I will dig my Christmas jumper out for tonight.

Newthrift- Glad you got your Christmas Decorations up today xx
Murie- That is a very good question. Do you think we should have an earlier "show" date? Say 20th December? What does everybody else think? I did not do any wrapping last night as I was exhausted. Also I normally wrap in the loft and at the moment it is a complete mess so would have to tidy it first and just have not had time.
mrsmoneypenny- I bet the fairy light net looks lovely, I always think they are so effective.
Big hugs to those who need them xxx

    Morning all!

Murie - You can get all sorts of ribbon on eBay. They probably have lots of navy. :)

Made a mistake with the decopatch stars. They wont fit through my letterbox so wont be suitable for the swap! One of the guidelines is that the parcel has to go through the letterbox. :( But I ordered some mini wooden stars to decopatch and then string on some sparkly gold twine to make a mini garland. Should get through a letterbox! :rotfl:Will just have to use the stars for something else at some point.

Can't believe we're actually into December! Another year gone rapidly. What a year though.

Hoping to do some crafting today. :T
