Aw FREE your reindeer is gorgeous and very cute, I've never been brave enough to try decoupage but I love the way it looks. Would it be very difficult for people with sausage fingers do you think? I think you're wrong and you can write tutorials, that's a great step by step guide - I'm going to follow what you've said and have a go at a floral arrangement.

Tree going up tomorrow so will post pics if it doesn't look too bare, can't remember how many baubles and the like that I've got.:D
It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
  • Well. some good news! They have actually only requested the return of the watch, which ironically was the cheapest of the 3! So Lego going cheap!!!!!!!!

Hey. fab reindeer Peppa, they are the nicest ones of their kind that I have seenI like the Santa Paws sign they highlight, you will make a real difference to animals in need.Hats off to you.

Free i love your little reindeer,he is cute.I tried to decoupage a mirror for DD2 but it just looks like a toddler has done it.Thank You for your flower arrangement pic and tutorial.I will have a go this year. All the equipment I bought last year is packed up in the loft at the moment.

Decorator has started and expects to finish a week on Friday.Carpet hopefully being fitted the week after so the house wont be straight until a few days before Christmas. It's strange how a bit of decorating messes the whole house up. I will try to give rooms a good clean, windows etc in preparation for decorations going up. I havent started wrapping yet so that could keep me occupied.

I have done my craft and last months but will have to wait for DD1 to visit to help me put them on.I am looking forward to seeing more of your pics.

I would also love to see pics of folks decorations being as though I have none.:(

I have been round to the chazzers and picked up a few bargains. The problem is I can never tell what is new stock (as they mix it in) and what is a preloved item. The prices don't seem different- all very confusing makes my blood boil.

    Great news GTQ :j

Thanks VULPIX. I bet you can't wait to see the decorating done and the carpet down. At least you'll have it all done before Christmas. Ooh, can you pm me your address please as I've got you in the Christmas card exchange. I'm going to try FREE's floral arrangement too, we'll have to compare pics.

Come on MURIE, show us your reindeer challenge, I bet we haven't done the same this time :rotfl:

Peppa- hang on woman, Im just about to take a photo!! I have a confession though,I am using the card I made for DD instead of the luminary I made for the challenge as I left it behind the sink to dry and some clever so and so (probably me lol) splashed water over it when they rinsed their hands! (Those of you on IG will have seen it before, I originally made it for my Mom but DD saw it and loved it so I adapted it for her).

You are right we didn't do the same challenge this time! I adore those reindeer of yours! They are so cute, what are the dimensions (if I can be nosey). They look so lovely sat in the window boxes with the mini conifers!
Free- love that decopatch, Ive still not tried it as Im a tad clumsy with glue in small amounts, lord knows what I would be like with the mount required for decopatch!
GTQ- good news in the end!
Newthrift/Vulpix-the decs will look lovely when they finally go up,
LMG1305- I love Arthur Christmas too but the Santa Claus is my fave (after White Christmas).
Right Im off to try and get a photo that works- photography is not my strong point!
    lovin' this site!

The christmas £1 scratchcards were available a few weeks ago i managed to get mine then, i did think they were a bit early .

My tree looks a bit wierd as the dog has decided to pull the decs off the branches he can reach so the lower part has no decs now. We have had him 6 yrs and he has never done that before.
