Yay, welcome home JJ, lovely to hear from you again and huge congratulations on the job. So glad things have improved - hope the MRI results are good ones.
MRSMONEYPENNY the link worked for me, those crafts are really sweet.
Ha ha VULPIX, sorry to have encouraged your Christmas spending (not really).
MURIE I prefer Costa too but the Christmas drinks just aren't doing it for me this year. Honeycomb hot chocolate for me please.
FREE don't panic Mr Mainwaring , it'll all come together.:D
I saw a book on Pinterest last night (blaming PINKSTEPS cos she suggested I go on there to see how to best light my new big tree) and it was something like '25 reasons why I love you'. Thought I might try and make one for DH for Christmas but I'm having trouble coming up with 25 reasons lol.
Cold today so candle burning yet again, heating on and Christmas24 on the tv. :TIt's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

Good morning all, on this strange historic day...
ANYWAY.....
So I have bought a tea set, a proper one. I got 4 espresso cups and saucers, a milk jug, teapot, 4 'cake' plates, cake stand and a 2 tier cake plate thingy, all of which are super posh and girly yet grown up so should absolutely last. I just need to find a nice box to store it all in but can't size it up until it has all arrived.:xmassmile:rudolf:0 -
LEMONADEMONEY The Works have some lovely boxes, different shapes and sizes including suitcase ones. Pack the stuff well inside though or it'll be mosaic by the time she gets it!
Ooh CHRISSEY snow. It's wet here so think it may be a bit milder than the 3 degrees yesterday.
Not sure how I feel today, possibly like the world has gone mad? For me today it's going to be a cosy day indoors, candles burning, planning for the big day and avoiding the news! Apologies to those who have to work lol. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

Welcome Christmas newbies !
It is a strange and historic day- hopefully one that wont stir the waters as much as promised, either on a domestic level or internationally.
Cold and very very wet here, although according to BBC weather app it is due to snow in 13 mins lol (at 10am).
Chrissy- DD is obviously looking forward to the day if she has started to think of organising the Christmas shop! Did you come up with a way to shrink the photo?
Peppa- that looks such a cosy scene- you enjoy it girl! I had a gingerbread latte at Starbucks yesterday which was OK but left me feeling slightly sick fort he rest of the day- milk overload!
I have to pop out to get more wrapping paper for Moms advents presents- I bought 23m in the sales and I have run out with still another 24 to wrap!( I do advent calendars for 7 people). My back is sooo painful from bending over wrapping yesterday so I am looking forward to actually finishing them (once I have the paper), then I can get to grips with wrapping the actual Christmas presents and decorating them nicely which I love doing.
Oh and I ordered myself a Christmas top from Asda yesterday to wear at the BBC Good Food show at the end of the month- red with a sequin deer on- only £8! Naughty me!lovin' this site!
