freespirit66 - Good to see you freeI'm very good thankyou, I hope your well
Clumsy42 - I popped into a garden centre near me yesterday, one I didn't know was particularly big but there were coach loads of people coming in 1 was from South Wales, another from Derbyshire, the car park was full, on a Wednesday morning!eek! I only wanted some sequins from hobbycraft which they didn't even have lol!
I showed my mum the John Lewis advert her reaction - "I don't like foxes hmmph" lol. (We've lost 3 chickens to foxes now). I thought it was pretty cute though!
I made the decision I need to watch some Christmas films todayI'm in bauble designing mode, well exercise, lunch shower, then Christmas
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

Totally loving the JL advert, for me it's the best one yet! Even better it means the Christmas countdown is officially on!It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Pixtotts today does seem like the perfect Christmas film day to me!
I've just got home and am expecting my sister for a visit, but she is very likely to cancel, as she always does. So I may well pop on a christmassy film and do a bit of internet present searching.:xmassmile:rudolf:0 -
Liked the JL advert - made me smile. Just waiting for Sainsbury's one now as it's always good.
Trying to save money this year so for first time in a while, might not bother with advent calendar or may have to budget it
Peppa - Lovely to see your festive tree. Also, I have a regular news drought every so often. I will avoid news for a few days and always feel better. I also subscribe to 'Positive News' and 'The Happy Newspaper' as I feel that the mainstream media aren't really interested in good news.0 -
Thanks Peppa, I'm on my PC at the moment but I will give it a try as I uploaded it to photobucket yesterday.0

Hopefully this has worked!0

Woohoo, I did it :j
I hope everybody is having a good day. I haven't seen the JL advert yet but my daughter has tagged me in it on Facebook so I'll watch it later. I had a boot full of Christmas presents that I finally got around to emptying today. Some of them have been sat in my boot for weeks! They've been put away safely for now and I will try and get some wrapping done this weekend.
I'm also going to start putting some decorations up on Sunday afternoon0 -
Well done LMG, are you doing the reindeer challenge this month? I thought I knew what I was going to do but I might change my mind because I've had a thought about something else now. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0

Afternoon!
Had a busy week, just the usual house renovations, work and life! Not a fan of the john lewis advert, its just not my cup of tea. I prefer Kevin the Carrot (Aldi).
Still waiting for OH's birthday present to go on sale (Pebble 2), which is at some point in November (although nobody can tell me when).
Still got some serious tiredness going on, I think its partly painkillers and partly being inactive for so long.
Had a phone call from my cousin in the US, he's planning on getting out ASAP (his parents live in Canada and he was born there so its quite easy for him to go back). HE was so stressed out, poor thing - but he's made plans to get out of there with a little help from me
Still got a fair few things to pick up for crimbo - we got the decs out yesterday and went through what we have and what we need - a new tree, and something nice for the huge window. Also plastered a wall yesterday (never again!), and fitted a windowsill, with some help from the OH and FIL.0 -
So glad I'm not the only one who didn't like the new JL advert. I really like the Very one with the cartoon people and the hearts. The aldi one is good too tho, was very shocked when it said aldi at the end.
Can't remember who said that their partner wouldn't let them decorate the bedroom but just don't tell him, it'll be a lovely surprise, that's what I'm doingI'm not going crazy though, just a 2ft tree on the chest of draws and the bubals on it will fit in with the colour scheme of the room anyway, if he is that bothered he can convince himself that's it's room d!cor.
