Hope you having a wonderful golden day Free!
I am so jealous of those who are artistic, what you have done so far is amazing, it will be really appreciated.
Well, I din't go to the funeral yesterday, felt really uncomfortable & knew that it would be a big funeral so I wouldn't be able to deal with the pain without looking a complete prat. She was a lovely girl and found out today that it went horribly wrong at the cemetery. When they got there, they discovered that the grave diggers had opened the wrong grave, so they had to wait until the correct one was opened and they had problems with that one also. The poor girl was eventually buried 4 hours after she was supposed to. It must have been so tough on her immediate family, especially as her youngest is still in primary school, so going through trauma of losing mum then having this fiasco afterwards will have a terrible effect. I know the primary school has arranged bereavement support, they are letting the child lead on timing, think it will probably be sooner than later.
Was in B&M today, was manic in there, lots of Christmas stuff but couldn't be bothered looking:oA smile costs little but creates much0 -

GTQ so sorry you couldn't make the funeral but sometimes circumstances just make decisions for us. Sounds like it must have been awful for her poor family.
SPRINGDREAMS that's a fab picture, is it a photo or one of the stock things you can use if you know what you're doing? I don't get access to the full range of smilies now so can only put the most basic things on.
Hope you're being spoiled FREE.It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -

Evening everyone, thankyou all so much with the birthday wishes, i have had the perfect day, a trip to the seaside, fish and chips and ice cream sitting on the seafront, then home to a champagne afternoon tea, with the kids, their partners and Thumper. Yes i have been very spoilt i got a new Dining Table and Chairs off of DS, a Bose Soundbar from DD2 and OH, and a weekend away in London in December from DD1 oh and a soft throw and amazon voucher from Thumper. So things i have been hankering after but never thought in a million years would i be able to afford them. I love all the snow challenge crafts, so original and so clever, i will really have to get my thinking cap on for this months one
PEPPAPIG i didnt glue the snow i just have carefully kept it at an angle and it has stayed where it is
GWENDOLYN happy birthday i am so sorry it was missed by people x

Thank you for the update! Lots of love to her xxxHappy Birthday Freespirit!
Hope you have a wonderful day.
I passed another year this week and the day went unmarked again. I think unless it's a big one people forget - even my family!
I wanted to share a little success story - it's my son's birthday this month and I wanted to buy a National Geographic Kids subscription for him. I searched around as it's normally around £36 per year, thinking I might find a 10% off voucher or something that saved a little bit. Low and behold it was on the clubcard Boost website for £13 of vouchers! I'd even forgotten I had those vouchers - so that was a lovely surprise.
Just goes to show best to do a quick internet search before you buy anything. When it comes to big items then I always do my research - for example, I had to replace my hoover this week, which required several hours of looking at models, deciding on a short list and pricing those properly. I'm happy with my decision even though I know the model I bought was £10 cheaper at some point during 2016 because I needed one now.
With the smaller stuff, I haven't tended to compare prices, and with certain things it never occurred to me. Now I realise I could be missing a trick!
I hope you've let us know when your birthday is on the main page so we can all wish you a very happy one next yearI am very fortunate that DH and his family always remember my birthday, although I'm pretty sure my own mother has forgotten a few times until she's seen well wishes on facebook :rotfl: Great bargain on the boots points!
Hi everybody, not had chance to look at the crafts yet but I am sure they are all wonderful. Will catch up later but just wanted to post the new challenge.

04..., might it be worth while asking/telling your boss what the problems are and see if they can be fixed? if you intend leaving if it stays the same what have you to lose ?
Have had a pukey week, necessitating days in bed, very un- mrsl, grumpy and grouchy. Better now, but no mojo yet.
Peppa, well done on no 9, (will call you sister sledge, as you are truly on the downhill of it now)xxx
As Christmas goes, l have knitted a red cardigan for DGN and swiss darned snowflakes on it, looks ok, needs buttons.
Nephews OH came up earlier to try to fix computer, but it would appear to be beyond redemption, had a lovely catch up though, and a secret discussion about their wedding ...... no one else knows....... yeah!!!
Now l need to start on mount ironmore, and pot up the last of the baby perennials for next year.
Oh MrsI, I'm glad you feel better, germs are awful at this time of year! I hope you manage to remedy your computer situation soon, maybe a black friday deal if it can't be salvaged?Gettingtherequickly wrote: »Hope you having a wonderful golden day Free!

Sorry if you work Mondays but i really wish today was over , We had all new internal doors fitted yesterday so the front door was open until just before 6 last night it was so cold, i have woken up with a masive headache and a runny nose.
Christmas wise we are almost done just got to get hubbys vouchers [ when he decides which shop he wants them for] and DDs laptop at the end of November. I have already a few sweets and even bought the booze , a whole 2 bottles of wine [ not big drinkers].
Food shop wise there will be no big shop , in the past i have bought loads of stuff just because it was Christmas but we aren't doing that this year.
The dog has lost 5lbs on his diet and the new vet is very pleased with him, If we can keep it up his leg will heal in time.We found out the worst thing we were giving him were dental sticks , if the dog eats them quickly they get no benefit from them other tham a massive amount of calories. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
