Crumbs it's quiet on here today, hope everyone is ok.

Bagged up the mugs and chocs I'm doing for the Christmas Day meal guests that SDD's church do, just need to get a couple of bubble baths to finish some of the smellies off then waiting for the chocolate coins and the like to go down in price, they're still £1 at the moment. I bought six smallish felt stockings in B&M so going to do them with coins, candy cane etc for any children that go. Sad that so many oriole gave nowhere to go on Christmas Day - apparently they did 80 meals last year.

Getting ready for Project Santa Paws too, just need to find another shoe box so I can take pics for the Facebook page. I've got the posters on order and I've contacted the local paper and another local magazine about publicity so fingers crossed. If all else fails I'm doing a letter for everyone in our street so hopefully the neighbours will do quite a few boxes.

Forgotten how to upload pics again but hopefully this will work!

It's the most wonderful timeof the year :
  • Hello all, been on holiday for 2 weeks so I don't think I have any chance of catching up with the thread now that it's moving so quickly. I hope I haven't missed too much!

Jetlagged at the moment so can't sleep & back in work tomorrow, so I'm guessing it will be a not very productive day.

I did enjoy coming back to the Christmas next catalogue though & I also bought some Christmas decorations while I was on holiday. Christmas is never out of my head : )

I hope everybody is ok & enjoying the run up to Halloween & Christmas now. I am so cold, it was still warm when we left for our holiday so it was a cold sharp shock getting off the plane today.

Looking forward to the next few months now, lots of Christmas preparation.

    Christmas hugs to all xx

They look great Peppepig, well done on doing so many. I'm sure they will be appreciated.

Welcome back from your hols money mission. It is def feeling more autumnul now.

Thanks Pavlovs dog. Plan to sit at the weekend and have a nosey.

Counting down til the October holidays on Friday. We aren't going anywhere except one over nighter in inverness for a dance comp. But looking forward to the break. But I will need to spend the time doing my 'spring' clean for xmas as I just struggle to do full house work when working. I manage to keep the place clean and hoovered, but wee piles of stuff seem to appear and have been moved from room to room. Plus pull out couches etc.

    Mornin.

Peppa you are lovely. Those gifts would be well recieved by all.How thoughtful of you.The Santa Paws collection too. Also like your wallpaper!

Chrissy Thanks for the info on the garden suppliers. Have spent a good hour looking at stuff I don't need ! I cant find the birdhouse thing perhaps it's only on the flyer.

MM15 It has gone cooler recently, all the better for Heige.

I did my Christmas snow craft but am so ashamed of it now I have seen everyone elses.lol. I am a bit stumped by stocking.Even good old Pinterest hasn't inspired me.

Free where are you.I miss you.

Oh, bought some candy canes that I didn't need because they might sell out.I also bought chocolate oranges whilst I saw them at a pound in Tescs.

Still laying stone flags, slow job.At least I have spring cleaned the downstairs now.Was expecting the production team from Hoarders to turn up.We had a carpet fitted in our bedroom yesterday so we can perhaps sleep in our own beds tonight.I would like to paint some of the furniture before it goes back in.Not enough hours in the day.

    Vx

  • Well, my Aliexpress orders are starting to appear, much quicker than I expected, so very pleased with the delivery times. So far, been more than happy with value for money on what I have bought, so think I will give some thought in New Year for next Christmas, if I order then, will be no issue on delivery times and could even be done & dusted by Easter!

If you put H9 in the voucher box it brings it up.

We have a couple of book people/book works type companies leave boxes of stuff for sale in our staff room today I spotted the most adorable elf door for sale, I'm going to order DGS one tomorrow as a Dec the 1st gift. His mum has an elf on the shelf so that will enable it to make its grand entrance.
