  • Peppa the bagged up gifts look great is that celophane wrap on a roll or individual bags I could do with some like that, I hope the santa paws project is a success.

moneymission welcome back from your holiday, I agreee that there are some nice bits in the next catalogue.

Pavlovsdog thanks for the updated list, I wasn't overjoyed when looking on the boots Christmas page. It seems the same as last year. I did get my boots vouchers through the post this afternoon with various vouchers of money off Christmas gifts. So if you are signed up to offers look out for the Christmas envelope from boots filled with vouchers. :j Went into my local boots to pick up a catalogue and was told by a very rude lady that works there that the booklets were only delivered to the store yesterday and they aren't putting them out yet its too early.

In Homesense today they had a stand of Christmas stationary, they had noteblocks with candy cane pens for a few pounds.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. TREASUREQUEEN they're individual bags with little Father Christmas figures on them although they do other pics too. I got them on eBay £2.07 for 20 - they come with ties so much easier to use than cellophane.

    Hello!

Just caught up with the thread, will have to pop back soon with proper responses :)

Just to say that unfortunately I didn't pass my driving test today :( I thought it was the best drive I'd ever done, but I failed because when I pulled over on the left to let someone pass me on a very narrow road, the guy passing by slowed down a little bit to squeeze through the gap (which was admittedly tight, but I couldn't have given him any more space if I'd tried!). I don't remember this happening at all and it seems a little bit harsh to me, but there's nothing I can do now. Annoyingly enough the rest of the drive went brilliantly - I managed a perfect parallel park on a downhill slope, all the roundabouts were on my side and I really thought I'd passed when I got back to the test centre. Oh well, just another £62 and 3 months' wait for the next one, right? ;)

On the Christmas front, I'm busy busy busy squirrelling things away - going to run out of space under my bed soon!

Hope everyone is keeping well :)

Just popping in to say that the Wickfields gingerbread jar candle is gorgeous! I fussy on candles and hate fake smells. But it really smells of gingerbread and a great buy at £2.99 as opposed to £17.99 for a Yankee one of the same size.

They also had candy canes for 79p and lots of lovely decorations x

Edit: these were in home bargains.

Yes it was home bargains. Sorry I meant to say that in my post. I hate fake smells like fake vanilla, banana etc. And hate sickly smells, but like you said, it smelled good in the jar. I was going to leave it til the beginning of Novemener to light, but last night I thought I'd see what it was like and it smelled delicious. Not sickly sweet.
I love Yankee candles but can't always afford the big jars. So these are a great buy compared to their big jars.
