Hi just found this forum, nice to know I'm not alone in getting ready for christmas. Freespirit love your craft, how did you get the words onto the glass?
Thanks0 -
Hello everyone
Just popping by again to say I have today officially finished my Xmas shopping!!! Woop! I was waiting for the Exeter Chiefs club shop to restock the shirt my friend wanted for Xmas, and it's finally back in stock. So I've ordered it for her so I'm finished!
The baskets and cellophane I ordered off EBay arrived today so I was able to make up the hampers for my family. My Dad's hamper is sugar free sweets as he is diabetic, my mums is literally just all her presents together- I put the nightie I bought her on the bottom, her Body Shop smellies and Harrods cup arranged on the top, and the necklace and Pandora charm I got her in the middle- covered it with cellophane and wrapped it in gorgeous gold ribbon. My sister's is a pamper hamper- her warm PJ's on the bottom and cosy socks on top, with her Body Shop smellies at the side. I haven't got the faintest idea how on earth I'm going to get all that on the train*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

ELLIEW8 hi and welcome back to the thread
MSGIGGLEWICK ooh i will have to go looking tonight haha
MURIE oh no how flaming annoying, paying those prices you expect quality, no wonder you are mad! I hope you get somewhere with customer services and not fobbed off
04624181 aww glad DD had a good day it makes all the difference doesnt it? Hope you and DS get to go out for lunch tomorrow
SAMMYKAYE yes i did get on there i just need to get my christmas planner out and see if i have to add anything to last years listsI do follow flylady (i am a lurker) but i like to have a christmas focus too!
CHRISSY glad you are pleased with DD light up picture, that is fab all being able to eat the same meal at christmas, DD is doing really well what with shopping and now cooking! I have seen someone do that before at a supermarket car park while sitting in the car waiting for DD but i couldnt get the reg plate quick enough! Its just damn right rude driving off knowing what you have done, my ex mil had the whole of her car damaged once, but the supermarket never had cameras so couldnt prove a thing
TREASUREQUEEN the glass charms are lovely, well done you, i love the gold heart symbolising the golden anniversary. I think those yankee candle advent calendars are way over priced tbh and i see this years is £29.99 on that site, have found you on IGI love that your gran wants fairy lights
my DD1 was going to have a go at making lip balms and foot balms but never got round to it
PEPPAPIG im glad im not the only one, i think its because she is always so busy and seems to have endless energy (GETTINGTHEREQUICKLY) :rotfl:aww DGD will love having a grown up dolls house like her nanny
PINKSTEPS haha they are fab!
REBECCALB it is a vinyl sticker i bought from Etsy its very effective isnt it?

Peppy & Free, I love you
Off for my spa tomorrow, looking forward to it, my friend has said that it like going on holiday again, treatments tomorrow, nice hotel, late breakfast on Saturday, then off to a national trust property (don't ask me, that is the only thing she had to arrange!), lunch then leisurely drive back on Saturday evening.
Seriously impressed with the crafts you have made, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler
Really busy next week, but all nice things, including going to see The Lion King, in between everything, I need to find time to collect my watch from jewellers. It only needed a battery, but as it is a Longine I was given for my birthday, it now has to be sent to Switzerland to maintain the warranty, £60 later........A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Hope it's ok for me to join in, September feels close enough to Christmas for me to start getting excited
Already been stalking the Matalan website! We're in the process of buying our first home, so I'm so excited to go all out with decorations this year0 -
Morning all
thanks for the warm welcome back!
MrsGiggle thanks for the heads up for Matalan, I went on the website yesterday but it said in store only, now it's online I'll be buying loads, my poor hubby lol
04624181 I really like the theme for September, I'm not very crafty but I may give it a go...I don't know how you managed 4 hours of ironing!
GettingThere, hope you like Lion King, I really loved it so I'm sure you'll enjoy
MandCo I'm off to look at Asda now...as if I need any more Christmas jumpers lol
I was googling Christmas shop online yesterday - I'm just that cooland looks like Tesco Direct have lots of Christmas stock too, it's going to be an expensive month!
We randomly had a midweek roast last night because the roast chicken I got on offer was about to go off and was lovely, made me feel like summer was officially over...plus it was rather chilly this morning so feels like the weather might be turning too. Can't wait for the cosy nights all snuggled up with hot chocolate and a blanket in front of the fire watching Christmas films!I'm dreaming... of a white Christmas :snow_grin :xmassmile:rudolf:0 -
CHRISSYG - Shame about your car. Nice that the lady took down the details though and that you have got it sorted. Annoying to think that the driver would have got away with it. Some people have no decency. Glad to hear about Christmas dinner. Chilli should be lovely and warming on a cold day.
Peppa - The dolls house idea sounds lovely. A proper traditional dolls house is something that I would have cherished when I was younger.
Pinksteps - Love the little snowmen. So cute.
Gettingtherequickly - Spa day sounds lovely. I'm jealous!
ellie - I can't wait for the cosy nights either. In the process of buying our first home. We are moving from the city to a country cottage and can't wait for cosy nights in front of the fire and winter walks all wrapped up.0 -

Aah, gigglewick you shouldn't have told me about Matalan. I spent so much money on their Christmas stuff last year! I will have to have a little nose on there tonight, it would be rude not to really.:rotfl:0
