Well I have ironed for about 4 hours and have still not finished!! I hate shirts! lol Hubby needed the car today so lunch with DS will be tomorrow instead. So much to do and not enough time. we out all weekend again! need to slow the social life down lol.
peppa- it is great to see the different ideas for one theme. I love doing it, its like we have our own craft group.
newthrift-great news that you have managed to speak to your brother. Your christmas folder sounds great, what is it? I got my frames from ikea, really cheap and good size too.
free-i literally had tears in my eyes watching her walk in her classroom this morning. She has had a great day. DS and I walked up to school to meet her and we took our little dog too so DD was over the moon.
Elliw8- Hi and welcome back. WOW you have been busy. Sounds like you had an amazing wedding. I did love it when they did christmas desins on GBBO.
cherry24-thanks for the info on freebies
msgigglewick-OMG i seriously need to avoid matalan until my next payday. I was in Co op today and saw mince pies and got all excited lol
murie- How disappointing, I really hope you manage to get it sorted out as you do not expect that from a brand like kate spade.
I hope you all like this months theme. I wanted to give a broader theme this month. Im excited.... but no idea what to do lol0 -
Oh no! popped in to moan, saw about Matalan and now I love loads on there! Where is OMO??- I saw that they have a stag wine glass that is lovely and she used to have a stag collection so I thought of her.lovin' this site!

Hello All,
This year has been crazy, I think I have only been on the forums a handful of times this year - life seems to have gotten more manic now the kids are older.
I even came on to a nice shiny new badge telling me I have been a member for 10 years! I'm only 32.
I am loving the crafts, they are so pretty so I will be seeking inspiration and taking up the snow themed challenge.
I will also add in - that anyone looking for presents - I work in a well known catalogue high street shopping chain and we are starting to shift a lot of our summer stuff to the discounted shelves now so may well be worth a little look.
FreeSpirit66 - thank you for the reminder about organisedhome.com - I completely forgot about their cleaning guide and their christmas to do lists - I cant keep up with flylady and was just saying to my husband today that I need to have a proper clean and clear out before christmas.
Keep well everyone and I hope to talk to you all again soon
Sammy

Hi everyone . DD's light up picture came yesterday its perfect I'm so glad I tracked them down. I have her locket too just got to see about the photos when she isn't around.
Last Thursday I came back to my car in Tesco carpark to find a lady writing a note she had witnessed another car hit mine get out look at the damage then drive off . she got his car details . I rang my insurance company who told me who he was insured with so I rang them and opened a claim, I also reported it to the police .Today I was contacted by his insurance to say he had admitted liability and I had 2 choices either it would be written off or they would make a payment in full and final settlement. I chose to take the payment as I really don't want my car written off .
Although I'm not taking part in the craft challenges I love seeing everyone's makes. I have found a pattern for a dogs blanket so i'm going to knit some for the local rescue centre, I'm quite excited about going for the wool tomorrow. [a little sad I know !]
We have had a major break through here for the first time in over 10 years this Christmas we will all eat the same meal , usually DD snacks but she has been using the slow cooker and has found out she likes chilli so that's out Christmas lunch a chilli made by DD.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I am currently on Matalan looking at all the new Christmas stock and trying to resist from buying anything. when I do my button art I get the ikea frames but have on some occasions got the wilko 3d ones they are both good value.
04624181 I know exactly what my craft will be, just got to get a few supplies as I have the rest already in.
Free thanks for the heads up about the yankee candle advent calender, don't know if its just me but I didn't find it very Christmassy.
Murie thanks for the heads up on the o2 freebie im going into town tomorrow so will go into boots, will be good in one of the hampers I am doing. also got to get the body shop samples too tomorrow. I also wouldn't stand for the purse that's doesn't seem right,
I will post my jingle bell craft tomorrow, I have tidied up and now cant find anything.

Great theme for September - easy decision for me as I'll make a snowman. Hard decision is - will it be a toy, jumper, hat, gloves? The mind boggles 😄😄😄
I have a wardrobe in my sewing room where I collect gifts all year round. So, this weekend I will make a list of everything I have so that I know exactly what I need to buy. Hopefully not too much as I'm going on holiday in November and will need money for that. I'm saving in the sealed tin challenge so the money I've potted will be shared between Christmas and holiday.
Your glass charms are lovely Treasure queen

I have decided to make some toiletries for my pamper stocking and hampers. Im going to make peppermint foot scrub and peppermint heel balm, tinned lip balm and essential oil roller balls. I have got all the supplies just have to wait for them to arrive. All will contain only natural ingredients and I have calculated prices and it works out cheaper than shop brought cosmetics. I have finished my grans Christmas present just bought some fairy lights that she wants with my survey money.£2 savers club 2025 #2= £480

Ha ha FREE, I see GTQ as being one of the younger ones too lol.
Welcome back ELLIE, sounds like you haven't been wasting your time. Organising two weddings takes some doing. Which reminds me, FREE are you still going to do your wedding planning course?
Hi CHERRY and SAMMY-KAYE!
MRSGIGGLEWICK I usually really like the Matalan Christmas things....now dare I pop over and have a look?
MURIE it's so disappointing when a quality brand produces tat. If they're remotely funny about a refund you could return it under the 14 day distance selling thing, mind you I don't think that covers postage so complain, complain, complain! Hope you find something nice to replace it with.
Yay 0462, love the September theme and (big fanfare) I really think my August offering will be ready to photograph tomorrow. I will be quicker next month I promise.
CHRISSY so glad the picture is just what you'd hoped and what a result having DD's chilli for Christmas lunch. Well done on sorting out the car insurance claim too, thank goodness for people like the lady who was going to leave you a note. I wish there were more people like her who care enough about injustice to get involved.
TREASUREQUEEN your wine glass charms are lovely, they really add glamour.
I had something to say when I started this post but what it was completely escapes me now so I'll pop back on later when it comes back to me. Must be an age thing. Oh I did go and collect a dolls house today, I'm going to do it up for my DGD for Christmas. She's had the little girls dolls houses but she wants a grown up one now. No idea how I'm going to hide it when she comes up at half term, think I'll have to decamp it to my sister for the week. It's the most wonderful timeof the year :0 -
