My Christmas folder is proving very useful and i'm about to spend 1/2hour having a look to see if I can find any more xmas bargins for people.
My brother got off ok and we have heard from him quite a bit, although these next couple weeks he won't have much access to wifi so will be quiet now. Glad he is ok, few tears but as you have all said, with modern tech its so much easier to keep in contact.
Right, off to try and find a few bargins.Christmas is the most magical time of the year :santa2:

Hello Christmas crazies
it's that time of year again! We're now officially in the 'ember' months so I thought it was about time I rejoined the thread and can start getting excited for Christmas...only 115 days but who's counting?
I got married earlier this year so I've been pretty busy organising that since we did a service in the UK and a bigger wedding in Mallorca, which basically turned into planning 2 weddings :O
I've read back the last 10 pages or so and seems a lot of you have had some tough times so far this year. Peppa so sorry to hear you're going through chemobut pleased that you're over halfway through your treatment and staying strong through your recovery!
Murie the pizza oven thing really made me giggle, and I know what it's like having a kitten in the house - just wait until you put the Christmas tree up!
Newthrift, sorry to hear about your brother moving to Canada, it sounds like he'll be sorely missed.
I'm loving the crafting by the way, you're all so talented!
I'm also a fan of GBBO - did anyone else start clapping and screeching when 2 of them did Christmas related gingerbread creations?!
My Christmas spreadsheet has been updated for this year and I've got a few bits so far but I'm waiting for M&S and Next to start their Christmas returns period before I can really get started.
Looking forward to sharing the Christmas build up with you all - you're the only ones who can truly appreciate the excitement as much as me! xxxI'm dreaming... of a white Christmas :snow_grin :xmassmile:rudolf:0 -
For those wanting free samples for advent calendars/ christmas crackers, there was a free moisturiser sample / sachet on the counter at my local Lloyds pharmacy today. I think it was Aveeno moisturiser.0

life is sooo nearly back to normal! all girls go back to school work next week! lol i really need to sort out the xmas cupboard and get the rest of the girls out of my bedroom... it looks like im sleeping in the northpole already! plus side is im sooo very nearly finished .. nearly made my september cut off. Not a clue what to get dh though.
Going to read back now, hope everyone is ok xxTotally debt free wohooo 2014

Those of you on o2- free soap and glory hand cream at Boots for advent calendars/hampers etc.
I have had the coin purse that I ordered for DD from Kate Spade and I'm so disappointed I am sending it back. Its lambs leather which I know is soft and liable to creases etc but it is creased, the leather is scratched and marked and worst of all it not fit for purpose- its a coin purse so why is there a whopping great gap where the leathers meet that a 50p could go through let alone a 5p! Its massive! Clearly a design fault. I am a massive fan of Kate Spade and I am lucky enough to own several handbags and purses and they are fab quality .This purse was originally £88 (I got it for just under £40 with code in the sale) and it looks like something you would get from China! OOh I am really riled over this (can you tell??!). I rang customer services who merely said could I take pics and they will 'look into it'.
Argh I am seething!
Sorry- end of rant!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sun xlovin' this site!
