More stuff gone today so 40 to add and I now have made 222.
I listed some more stuff this afternoon and already had enquirers. Gosh, it gets quite addictive doesn't it?
I have a veg plot in the garden and I'm surprise about just how little veg Ineed to buy in the summer when everything is productive. This year I won't grow anything because we'll be moving so I'll miss that but hopefully in our new place I'll be able to get a few veggies in.Trying to keep in budget.

Just had a long chat with friend and ended up telling her how much I disliked her boyfriend... whoops. Turns out I was right to dislike him. he has become controlling and telling her not to do things and what to do, etc. not good
Hopefully she'll see through him, although it may take quite a long time.
Sold 2 for about £13 between them and just about $5 on the poker, but still very slow here too.0 -
I really need to share this, I'm blown away!
At the end of November I was wearing a dress which i bought from NEXT over 12 months before. It was virtually disintergrating on my body all the seams were fraying open.
With my money saving head on, I took it back and chances my arm.
They offered to refund me the sale reduced price as I had no receipt. I argued that it was on my credit account so that would act as the receipt. And requested a full refund. The manager came down and said think yourself lucky it's over 12 months old. I stuck to my guns and they sent it to their returns department. For them to deal with . so after a few weeks of emails back and to with the directory I got an email today, apologising for the service I received and given a full refund and wait for it .... An extra £20 as an apology.!!!!
Before lurking on this thread I would have just chucked it in the bin. So thank you every one x
Well done that is awesome. I used to work in Primark and I spoke to one of the managers about stuff like this and the law states that an item can be returned for a full refund if fails within a reasonable period of time. Reasonable period of time is obviously a matter of opinion so you do have a lot of wiggle room to argue these things. That is what I am trying to do with it as well. I only put $10 in as I am a bit impatient and I wanted to get going. I am making a huge 20c a day profit at the moment but I am hoping things will pick up as I get more referrals. I think it seems like a good one so far xTotal Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

Just as I was feeling optimistic about the directory delivery jobs that are likely to come up this next few months I find out that Thomson's aren't publishing their directory any more and won't be needing distributors this year:(.
It's only one of the jobs, the others should be safe;), but it was the easiest of the lot as the books were so small and light. So that's about £130 I won't be able to count on. Must make more effort with other ways to raise some extra cash instead;)0 -
clydesale bank are offering incentives to switch.
I wouldn't bother. I'm still waiting for them to pay mine and keep getting fobbed off with excuses / conflicting information every time I call to chase it up. Not to mention their online banking is truly awful
If I don't get my bonus next week I'm shutting the account and going back to Halifax. They ain't gonna keep me if they ain't gonna pay me.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

Guys I've had a wonderful day.
Streaming video games on Twitch (I was playing Theme Hospital, if anyone remembers that blast from the past :rotfl: ) and I got 3 separate donations from viewers to the tune of £29! One of them sent me £20!
Also my Amazon vouchers came through from that electrical safety interview with BBC radio Scotland I did and it's... £25! I was only expecting another tenner maybe because it was all of a 5 minute phone call :j

For a change I have no idea what you are talking about but well done!!
Twitch is like a social media site for gamers. You can play video games and broadcast it live on the internet (live video). People watch you and talk to you as you're playing via a text-based chat.
3 of the people watching decided to give me money today through paypal. Donating on twitch is a really common thing. If you're watching a stream and you like it you can send a bit of money their way. Sort of like a "thank you for taking the time and effort to provide an entertainment service"
For some people, streaming games on twitch is a full time job and they have thousands of followers and get hundreds of £ a day in donations it's insane.
So basically I played a game for a few hours, people watched it, some of them gave me money.Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100
