I grow them every year but never start them off as early as this. How are you doing yours please? Anyone with an allotment is obviously much more of a gardening expert than me, even though I live in the country:o
Well I usually start mine off in November in loo rolls and they are all sprouting nicely in the greenhouse. You can never have too many though and I have oodles of seeds that I saved from last years plants.
Found half a bag of old compost, stuck it in a load of plant pots and put three seeds in each. Give them a regular water and bobs your uncle. The ones I do in loo rolls get planted into the ground with loo roll as well. One of easiest flowers to grow and as you say, smell beautiful!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... I really need to share this, I'm blown away!
At the end of November I was wearing a dress which i bought from NEXT over 12 months before. It was virtually disintergrating on my body all the seams were fraying open.
With my money saving head on, I took it back and chances my arm.
They offered to refund me the sale reduced price as I had no receipt. I argued that it was on my credit account so that would act as the receipt. And requested a full refund. The manager came down and said think yourself lucky it's over 12 months old. I stuck to my guns and they sent it to their returns department. For them to deal with . so after a few weeks of emails back and to with the directory I got an email today, apologising for the service I received and given a full refund and wait for it .... An extra £20 as an apology.!!!!

I feel really bad about taking this money. Not only is the £100 'interest' she added to the original £200 far too much, much more than any interest I'd have gained anywhere else during that time, but I genuinely wanted it to be a gift to her that she'd never have to repay. She was going through hell at that time.....
I think that's lovely CBCIt shows how much it meant to her and how thankful she was for your help at the time.
True Karma that you met up after all this time

Still catching up on the thread, but belated Happy Naked Day to Lynne. Hope you were spoilt rotten.
Thanks - that made me
Have also taken lots of xmas gifts back and exchanged for things we did need like new jeans for OH as he's lost lots of weight and can't fit into his wardrobe and couple of warm tops for me. So that was helpful.
Can't you count any of that money ?? If you returned goods and then bought things you would have bought anyway - surely that's money made ?

I've had a super day today and made an extra 100 buy selling a printer, an old bin and a breadmaker.
so that's 182 total so far. Nearly at target.

£10 payment from SB brings me up to £38, which feels a bit better. Ordered another £5 today as well, so that should be with me sometime. It's been a slow month, but the way I have been feeling, I'm surprised I've earned this much!Rainy day fund — 210/1000 Emergency fund — 1019/1500
