  • Nothing to add for me today and I could kick myself.

Been to pay the next installment for my girly (50th) hol in October and called in a few shops whilst in the high street.

Called in superdrug to see if my olay face cream was on offer and it was!! 2 for £15.

Had two full bags of stuff one of which fell over on the back seat of car on way home.

After unpacking I only had one of the face creams. Been out to car and looked under seats several times.....even rang the store to see if I accidentally left it on the counter.

So mad with myself as something I normally pay a tenner for has now cost me £15.

Hey ho........it must have fallen out of bag on my travels.

    Note to self........BE MORE CAREFUL!!

How frustrating! Hope it turns up xxx
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Sorry to hear your news, Kantankrus Mare. Have you looked under the car in case it fell out of the bag as you were unloading and it rolled there. That's happened to OH a few times;)

I'm not too happy either at the moment as my pending Amazon sale has been cancelled, that's the second one in about a week. Different buyers each time but Amazon couldn't verify their payment details:(. This latest book wouldn't have brought in much profit but was still worth having. The first one would have though.

It's really windy here now and snowing but it isn't settling because of all the standing water from the last couple of days. I hope it doesn't freeze overnight though, the temperature is plummeting already:eek:

Sorry I'm not here much. We were travelling for two weeks, Christmas etc prior to that and now the four of us have jetlag and horrible colds :(

My daughter returns to school next week, so I'll be able to be on here a little more frequently :)

I wonder what issue is with their payment details?

Can you like ebay, put limits on your account to stop certain people buying?

Do you think they weren't using valid details?

LOVE this! Is that just your local guys choice or is it a nationwide branch policy?

I'll have to ask around. It's a lovely concept. Restores a bit of faith actually! :A
