Had an early night last night and forgot to post, however you guys did save me from ordering in a dominos in the evening (I had popped on and read) and I had Glamorgan sausages with mash and gravy instead.
Yesterday was a spend day. I was awake until 6am and decided to rent a film on prime at about 2am. I've then had 12 hours sleep last night and thinking of having more.Credit card respend 2551.58 (15/02/17)0 -
Totally agree Bob Catwoman brilliant post, so many valid points. I can relate to the lonely bit, I do retreat into my shell at times as spend so much time on my own. Going to make more of an effort to be sociable, well when it warms up
Quick post for me today as today is a disaster so far, car wouldn't start, borrowed battery charger off friend, didn't seem to be working, the fuse blew in that. After 3 hrs messing about in the cold, changed fuse got it working and arrived in garage for new battery 100 pounds!
Apparently the one AA fitted for me exactly over 3 yrs ago was the wrong type, too small for my car, so thats why is has always struggled to start. To be fair when it was fitted was in a dark field with -5 temperatures I was just so grateful as late evening and I was off airport in the am.
Finally arrive in work and break my bosses mug. Will have to go and get him a new one or my life won't be worth living.:(
Had extra money in my wages this week 47 pounds - (tax refund and pay rise 500 pounds per yr.) So paid off another 30 pounds off cc1:T 400 left to kill before interest free period runs out mid FEB.

Well done on your payments Calling. Sorry to hear about your battery though!
NSD 9 here. And my brilliant bit of luck today was a soggy brand match coupon for £2.51 which I have dried and will use to pay for some freezer items. Horray!" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hello everyone! How was your day?
It was horrible here in the northeast. Heavy snow in the morning has put all the roads in grid lock. What normally takes me 15 minutes in the morning took me 2 hours to get to work. Lots of idiotic drivers as well as overly cautious ones make bumper to bumper traffic. An equally idiotic me didn't think much of the snow that was just minute flakes when I left the house, put on her oldest pair of work shoes that she had just discovered had holes in the soles so much so that when she walked from the car park to the workplace (2 hours late) She had all the icy slush inside her shoes. And guess what it was also the day when I was scheduled to deliver stuff to different departments inside the hospital as well as the outside satellite units. Now I need a long hot bath to defrost my feet.
On the positive side it was NSD 9 today. I had to buy lunch at the staff canteen but I used my own personal allowance money so I am not counting that as a spend coming from the family's grocery/household budget. I am planning to do absolutely nothing tonight. End of.
I do hope you all had a much better day than me. Good night"There is Life AFTER DEBT."LBM 2009 Total Debt £49046.24 Debt Free as of 27/08/20150 -
