Hi everyone,
NSD 5 today, not great but not bad I guess being as it's the 10th.
Got some free stuff- someone DH works worth gave us a box of homemade sauces that his daughter made, hickory smoked sauce, bbq sauce, Jamaican cooking sauce and pasta bake sauce to name a few, also my mum gave me a packet of pearl barley yesterday.
Since starting back on my ADs two weeks ago I'm starting to feel better, on Friday I made a curry, soup, bread and a cake and yesterday I made the kids some oat cookies, I have my cooking mojo back, and the fug has lifted, also after a long chat with DH things have been better, I think my depression had progressively got worse over Christmas so it hadn't helped my reactions and thoughts.
Trying to spend a moment each day to be mindful in what I am doing so I just sat here really enjoying a cup of tea! It's taken me ages to write this as my DS has been demanding the iPad off me.
Those sauces sound lovely! Sorry you felt so bad over christmas." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I have managed a 6th NSD today
Did a survey for Pinecone, which will pay £4, so that will count towards my 'extra earnings' for this month
Tomorrow will be a spend day though, as I need a few items from town (mainly veg). I have also checked the local food bank's web site to see what they are short of, as I intend to make this month's donation to charity at the same time0 -
Today I am grateful for a lazy start to the day, for getting out with dd and dh this afternoon, for good coffee, for a good book, for cuddles from dd.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Busy day today, and not spend free unfortunately - but worth every penny. Went out and did my tutoring and then met up with bestie for a cuppa and a sarnie for lunch. Spending time doing my own thing is good for my soul. Much as I love my family, it gets draining from time to time.
Then had a wander around the shops and finally spent my £20 H&B vouchers on vitamins for dh - he needs them and I had no particular wants or needs from there so decided to put the vouchers to good use. I also spent a bit more than I intended in other shops but not too much.
Oooh, actually, I'm just thinking that those vouchers might go to my wombling total Bob? I got them months ago after a package I ordered arrived damaged...Not giving up

Evening all,
SFD number 9 hereDid the finishing touches to painting the conservatory with the free paint I was given. Also went shopping with my sister and got a light pull for the office - I love improving my home. However, my sister was buying lots of other items so she put mine through with hers and refused to let me pay her, so that's another free item and keeps my SFD
Not much else to report here, busy week ahead with lots of appointments, meetings etc in the evenings. Just about to go batch cook some chilli for dinners and fritters for lunches.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hello.
Quick check-in for me. Just the usual... slept all day, eaten supper and now about to get ready for work again.
As much as I love nightshifts, I do miss the fact that I can do stuff after a dayshift. On nights, I just seem to sleep and eat.
On the plus side, extra pay for nightshift.
:undecided
Anyways, received an email today from my credit card... statement shows £3.14 to pay (must be interest). Good job I checked as it is due by 30th January.
Hope this doesn't count as not being debt free.
Off to get ready for work.
Hugs to you all.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Hi everyone.
Not done a great deal today, went for a walk, caught up ironing cleaned bedrooms, unblocked hoover and gained another Sfd. Not sure if I am on 8 or 9 check tomorrow.
Watched Amy film, clips of her singing shows how incredible she was, not sure about her father at all.
Feeling a bit anti social at the moment just can't be bothered with people today. Saw a friend out jogging tried to palm me off her husband who was walking, he bores me to death and the thought of 3/4 hr walk with him - my route got changed. Supposed to meet friend for lunch but whether I am cranky as haven't slept well this week made my excuses.
Fmess jealous so want to decorate lounge/dinning room but trying not to spend.
Was going to wash my hair earlier but decided it looks great and best curls had in months. Cold wind this morning?LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Hi everyone
Not read any posts since my last on 29/12, apologies. May have to drop out of this challenge, but please believe I wish you all to continue the marvellous atmosphere and mutual support here. It has been encouraging to read just how much has been achieved and what obstacles have been, and continue to be, overcome.
I have been preoccupied with a close elderly relative who has serious and numerous health issues. Due to attend their GP with them this week, to try and get some more info and progress, since one of the complications are problems with memory, which doesn't help to say the least. If it goes well, I may be back, but I know you will understand if not.
Anyway, my very best wishes to all and thanks for all the help and support! Hoping to be back soon.BE HEALTHY, STAY POSITIVE AND PERSEVERE0 -
Hi everyone!
SFD 5 today.
Had plans to go to a (free) family event taking place at local theatre. However, DS has not been feeling well so had a pj day instead. Made some flapjacks with DD and cooked a roast chicken dinner. Have stripped the chicken and made a stew for tomorrow, with enough meat left for a chicken fried rice, a chicken curry, and some in the freezer for a later date.
Sold an item on eBay for £4. Still have some items listed due to end later this week.
Have been playing around with budgets and am still on track to pay off cc next month. Just need to keep spends to a minimum for the next few months.0 -
Well my spend day turned into a NSD as OH needed some liquid for his e-cig vapour thingy so said he would pick up the parrot food to save me a spend day. :j
As we could get by without any other spends toady I accepted.
We are going to visit my Mum tomorrow and so decided to pop into Aldi for a shop, our nearest one is about 20 miles away. Mum happy as she will have company to go shopping with and won't have to drive so a win win for everyone (except OH who hates shopping with a vengeance :rotfl:) I have a list and intend to stick to it.
Chez xThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"0
