Morning all
I knew I'd sent to her in the past but I'd had to have a deleting session as my inbox kept filling to the max allowed.
Thanks for sending a note coxy I hope she's alright and just busy with RL
Busy today but plan to have a look in my cupboard and start my exchange piece over the weekend.SPC~12 ot 124

Hi all,
Just to let you know that I sent a note to FoS on Thursday so providing she hasn't moved, I hope to hear from her shortly (gave my email address to her in the card I sent). I was away this Thursday to Saturday in Prague. No craft shops but more Russian dolls than you could shake a stick at! Lovely city and would highly recommend for a short break if you get a chance.

Thanks Coxy11!!
Didn't even know there was such a thread and took me a while to find it lol!
Hope noone minds me latching on, I'm a serial crafter with my main crafts being spinning and knitting. I do everything else you can think of from weaving to crochet on the side with the most popular being crochet, cross stitch and EPP (English Paper Piercing) being my poison of choice lately.
I am just about to start doing the Epic Pokemon Cross Stitch Series 1 ASAP. Even bought a Cross Stitch Floor Frame so that I don't have to move it around, in the hopes that I actually finish it as it's seriously 1000 times bigger than anything I've done before.
Just a quick question before I go, I'm going to have to mark my linen to mark the 10 marker, what does everyone use???? I was thinking of using a frixon pen as I've never washed cross stitch before. My pattern is all in DMC if that helps
Anyhow better stop nattering I can go on and on when it comes to my crafting! A serious love for me! Anyhow I am super excited to see what everyone is working on and will be going back to read nowLittle Frugal Cottage x

Welcome littlefrugalcottage, we're just getting our Christmas exchange sorted, I don't think its too late to join, basically coxy will send us an address and at the beginning of December we send a cross stitched card to that person, its the highlight of my Christmas
For marking your fabric, once someone had a problem with the washout pens took lots of stain remover to get rid of it, further up the page I posted a link to some easy count guideline, or cheaper alternative is fishing line.
I'm currently working on the "Merry Mice" from ultimate cross stitch Christmas and may do "Special Surprise" too, both are Margaret Sherry designs. BTW we love lots of photos.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -

Oh they are just lovely!!! I cannot wait to see the finished product! I will look into the fishing wire but I was kinda hoping to use either a pen or pencil to save some work!
I love the idea of the card, especially to add to my December Daily (Scrapbook!) do I need to send a message to Coxy11 to get added?
I KNOW!! It's massive, but I was saying to the other half how I wanted to do it and well he said why don't you, you know in the way only other half's can lol. So I bought the items and decided I would! I hope giving myself a whole year to do it will be ok. I do want to finish and not have it as one of my many FO's!Little Frugal Cottage x

Yup just send coxy a pm i'm sure she'll add you
I agree with your other half, go for it, I look forward to your progress. Dreams of Atlantis is my large cross stitch I want to do but I think it might take me 10 years at the speed I stitch.

Morning all
Hope everyone is well
I haven't put a needle to my big project all year which is embarrassing! My Celtic Noel is sitting sadly untouched - I must get her back out and do more on her.SPC~12 ot 124
