Found cheap tickets online. Not my cup of tea either, they're for my Dad and Step Mother!
We will be there 13th - 16th May, after 6 days in the Sacramento / San Francisco area. :T
Was in SF 1992!
Pier 39, the hills! The low cloud which meant we could not see the top of the Golden gate and Bay bridges on a cruise round the bay and the giant redwood trees - enjoy :T0 -

Agree. Think the last time I looked at a price list it was something like $12 for a shirt. Service washes make me wary as I always have several items I don't want put in the dryer with heat, etc.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
I agree re stuff you don't want putting in the dryer. I'm still too cheap to do a service wash anyway.0

25% off at Groupon just now in case anyone is interested. There's also $10 off $25 or more for new signups.
'Through 3/29
Use Promo Code BIG25 Up to 3 Times
Just enter the code at checkout to save on restaurants, spas, things to do & more!'
Unfortunately we're still just over 5 months from our trip, I'm hoping to see Planet Hollywood Buffet and Dal Toro when our trip comes around.0 -

My Dad lives in a town called Davis, about 70 miles away (nearer Sacramento). We visited SF for 2 days last year , but only really did Alcatraz, the piers and shopping, so looking forward to seeing more this time.
I was amazed how chilly it was (17 degrees), compared to inland Davis (32 degrees), must be the sea air!!0 -
Got back from Vegas a week ago, still on the comedown
Good news is we have booked our return trip for December already, got a great deal for the Encore
.
Valley of Fire - This was absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend it if you get the chance. Only ended up being me and my husband on the tour, so we had the guide to ourselves! He knew loads, and the scenery was just stunning. A great change of pace from the Strip.
Palace Station - Due to the Station casinos being added to MyVegas we went to sample the buffet. It was a great reward deal - two any-time buffets for $10.99 ($15.99 if you wanted unlimited alcohol). As for the quality - hmmm. Our expectations weren't high, luckily, but not sure we'd make the effort to go again. Better than the Flamingo buffet though!
Other than that, we just did many of the standard things. Saw the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil - it was fab, if not cheap. Broke even at the gaming tables. Got a great bargain at the outlet mall - Burberry Kensington trench coat for £700 instead of the £1400 it would cost here .
Now just gearing up for the next tripBetter get playing MyVegas again...

Does anyone else use the tripit app ?
I;m putting a trip together at the moment for an ex Euro to Chicago (at £250 plus Ryanair placement flights it seemed rude not to) and it's really good the way you can just email them your confirmations (or add them manually)and it sorts it all and puts it into an itinerary . Planes, trains, hotels, shows etc can all be added (and changed) so might be handy for keeping track of those complicated trips to Vegas with lots of elements.
I'm not sure how much more useful the paid version would be - the free one works well though .I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
Hi all,
Long term forum user ! We have trip no 10 coming up on the 5th June staying at Aria for two weeks! Has to be one of our favourites and they have upgraded our room which I bagged in the Black Friday sale to a corner suite can't wait!!!!
After playing my Vegas since it came out going to cash in my points , I want to redeem the two lunch vouchers at aria and the $50 free play!
Couple of questions - and I'm sorry I know there has been a lot of posts about this recently - how many vouchers am I allowed to redeem for one trip? And also I am having no joy getting the lunch vouchers as they sell out every day what time do I need to set my alarm for ? Haha
Also we have seen Mj Cirque but tickets were so expensive where is they best place to get them as like to see it again?
:j
Many thanks
Annmarie0
