£ to $ was always going to be hit by the uncertainity of the EU.

we like Dollar at TI, though the last few trips the cars have not been great - they have been mechanically fine, but have been around the block several times....but it's convenient. We haven't really looked at whether any of the other in-hotel desks are on any of the UK 3rd party sites recently as we're so used to just going with TI.
When we have needed a car after a few days
A few times at the TI the car selection was not good,
so when we visit the south outlets using the SDX we just nip round the corner to the rental car centre,it's a 10 minute easy walk,Changed to Alamo as well always get a cheap 20 dollar upgrade0 -

I also use Alamo now, I have tried the last 2 times to get an upgrade from fullsize to the next grade and been unsuccessful, Can I ask how you have done it0 -

Doing tip's to get a better car is done in the garage, I know, I do it every year.
A 'lot' attendant may let u get into a better car, but when you get to the exit, its a different story.....0 -
with the low USD rate at the moment I can sell back what I have leftover from last years trip and make a profit on what I paid"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

Can't believe I've only just discovered this thread - heading back for my sixth trip to Vegas on 7th March, can't wait! We're doing the One Cirque du Soleil this time, as well as a trip to the Valley of Fire.
I was just wondering - as my husband and I are not confident drivers, we tend to go on organised tours to see further round the Vegas area, which can get a bit pricey. I found a very cheap one that takes you to Laughlin for $19 - I'm not expecting that Laughlin will be great, but thought it might be nice to have a change of scene for a day (or some new casinos). Has anyone been, do you think it's worth it for a few hours? Tour:
