what type of room at Caesars? Palace Tower or better that's what we would do...I regret that we went back to Bally's for a few trips (though it was always because people were meant to be joining us and we wanted to keep costs down overall) as it seems that impacted our Caesars offers.

its a forum or palace room
dont think there are any bad rooms there anymore, is there?

arent the new julius rooms the old roman tower

checking again on TR, we need a 2 queen room and caesers are only offering a king room which is a bit odd

I've seen a few of these. The kick me in the balls placard guy wanted $20 last trip, have seen pregnant drunks, people having races on mobility scooters, toddlers out Downtown at 2 am. I think that's about it. All but the guy with the placard, (who is often in the bridge between Cromwell and Bally's,) were during a boxing weekend. They can get crazy.

We have seen the kick me in the balls guy and a scooter race in Harrahs casino. NO toddlers at 2am though cause I dont think we have ever been awake at 2am :D

You're probably right, I just perceive that the roman tower rooms were quite small, relative to the others...but since they have been renovated then I'm sure they will be fine.

We had it once where we could get an Octavius Tower room comped, but only 2- queens...1 king wasn't comped...but we thought hey we're going for it and if we end up with 2 queens then fine, we able to get a king at check-in, but it's a bit different if you need it the other way around and need the 2 beds.

  • I guess most people will know this, but when booking hotels it is worth playing around with dates.
Friday 6th May – Sunday 8th May – 2 nights at Aria via an offer on smartervegas = $401 + tax + rf.
Thursday 5th May – Sunday 8th May – 3 nights at Aria via an offer on smartervegas = $419 + tax + rf.
Adding an extra night cost me an extra $18 + tax + rf.
However, the offer included $50 per day credit for food at Aria or Bellagio.

Sorry, not sure I understand...but we always just leave a CC on the room and whatever we have legitimately charged to the room is just billed to that card when we check out. Anything that wasn't ours was taken off the bill.

As photome says, you can check-out on the telly as well - much better than going down and standing in a queue, though I suppose if you have a cash deposit to get back maybe that cannot be avoided.

We always ask at the players club the night before we check out what comps (if any) can be applied as well. I don't like check-out day to be any more painful than it has to be.

    hi
and thanks for the reply. On your first point when we have stayed at the mgm we have had to use our debit card and a deposit down which was like $200,I was unsure IF you charged things to your room, if you paid cash to cover that, or if the deposit was used or something else was used, in this cash is seems you use your CC.
Checking out via your tv seems a great idea,. pity i had no idea you could do this!(hope i remeber!)

Going back to that article in the Daily Mail, I noticed this line:
"""""4chinisbetterkek was equally horrified to see a girl vomit in a guy's hands, only for them to continue making out a minute later. """""

oh how that reminds me of my youth !! hehe !! ;):D:D:D:D:D

CP has quite a good record for getting a better tower using the $20 trick.

Certainly worked for me (on a comp room too)

agree - we have always been upgraded just for asking nicely and tipping after, usually from Palace to Augustus but once from Forum to Augustus...but I am skittish about booking a room we wouldn't be happy with if it's where we ended up. PH taught me that.
