After looking at the rooms at the Cosmo, I certainly will be aiming for any room with a Terrace!!! :D:D I'll try the $20 trick anyway, or just try and settle on $20 a night upgrade on my comp'd room....
I quite like the idea of sleeping on the balcony when my wife kicks me out for snoring!!! :D:D:D:D

Going to the Luxor after (Tower Suite), I know its a come down as such, but for us, its a + !! Cos we like the private pool at Luxor

Wife is happy to change 4 times now over the 2 weeks, so plan will be:
    4 Nights Mirage
    2 Nights Monte Carlo
    3 Nights Cosmo
    5 Nights Luxor
    Total cost excluding R Fee = $23 :):):):) I like Vegas!!!

The Fountain View ones are amazing, though if you are sun worshippers you might prefer the opposite side as the fountain one doesn't get the sun. This was the view from our terrace.

Loved the Cosmo when we stayed there about 3 years ago. The room was amazing. I did feel a bit old staying there though, would have been 35 when I stayed!! It was full of youngsters!! Pool areas not that big, much prefer either mirage, bellagio or Venetian pools.

I was 35 when I stayed the first time, and my OH was 40. We will be 37 and 42 when we go this summer. We honestly never once felt even a bit old or out of place. :)

I was a bit worried before we went the first time, as I read a few reviews that said it was full of college kids partying and then passing out in their own vomit in corridors. I seriously considered swapping to the Wynn or Mandarin Oriental. We saw no rowdy behaviour at all, even in the bars. Although on a weekend, walking back into the Cosmo from the Strip or Crystals, the wall of noise from the Chandelier hits you like a ton of bricks! :D

We have never stayed at Cosmo but we visit often. We are both a lot older than you are and have never once worried about being out of place. OH is 81 this month and I'm 56.
