We think Cosmo is brilliant, and since our first stay they have always offered each of us 2 nights comped, so we can normally stay our last 4 nights there. We would never have considered it if it wasn't for talk here about the laundry facilities in some of the suites and we opted to splash out for our 20th trip. I think they may not have the washer and dryer in those rooms anymore, but it was fabulous while it lasted. We thought that we would feel out of place there, and we aren't their target market, but we love it.

the self-parking is particularly handy...if you go down one or two extra levels, you can pretty much always park right by the lifts...we never bother with valet there as there's really no point.

    Well
'Part' of my cheek worked! I got the offer for 3 nights, and a host has just mailed me (Jeff)....
But they got me good though.... My Monte Carlo comp is for Fri-Mon, so was hoping to swap for that, but Cosmo are offering Wed-Sat , or Sat-Tue !! :D:D
Based on play, he has said the resort fee could be waived....

    Soooooooooooooooooooo, what to do ?!
    Currently have:
    5 Nights Mirage
    3 Nights Monte Carlo
    6 Nights Luxor

Cosmo looks totally amazing, and I think I would be daft to turn it down ?
    Guess I could do:
    6 Nights Mirage
3 Nights Cosmo (could not afford a fri night in Cosmo!)
    5 Nights Luxor

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!

no idea, normal one I guess, but I'm guessing the normal rooms are nice in the Cosmo anyway ? (MC would be a Mon or Spa suite)....

More importantly, are the Pools a decent size in Cosmo ? as we would be out in the sun all day, and we like good size pools! :)

I've not stayed in the standard City rooms, but I would think they are nice. The hotel itself is lovely. We stayed there on our previous trip to Vegas in 2014, and we're going back this summer. We were torn between staying in the Cosmo again, or trying the Wynn/Venetian. In the end, we decided we'd been spoiled with the great Cosmo location and the terrace overlooking the fountains, so I just bit the bullet and booked 10 nights in the Cosmo for August. :)

I don't like sitting by the pool in Vegas so we only briefly visited the Bamboo pool, which is pretty small. I think the Boulevard pool isn't that big either, but the Marquee one is larger. They're not as big as some though.

Hey Stuie I've stayed in both Monte Carlo and Cosmo, and Cosmo has to be done atleast once!
You will find the pools are quite small in comparison to Monte Carlo and Mirage, we ended up having to settle for chairs away from the pool for a couple of days

We also haven't stayed in a City Room, we have always either had or been upgraded to a terrace room which is what makes Cosmo extra special to me...even if I wasn't a smoker, being able to go outside on the terrace is awesome.

Monaco Suite at MC was nice enough, we thought...but any room we have stayed at at Cosmo has it beat...the City Room at Cosmo would be smaller, I think...but otherwise I would imagine it would be much nicer. Good toiletries, too.

The main thing for me is fitting it in....
If I can convince the wife to do 3 nights Mirage, 3 nights Cosmo, 3 nights Monte Carlo and 5 Nights Luxor, it will work out every night is comp'd, and just the resort fee's to work on.....
But she doesn't like the thought of moving around too much, hmmmmmmmm !

If you guys want a heads up on how u might blag 2 days out of the Cosmo, drop me a PM and i'll give u some info.... you would need some existing comp offers or proof u had comp offers recently.....

that would be too many moves for me, too...we once moved twice, last two hotels were (I think) two nights each, which was not great...we've decided that one move is enough for us.

personally, I would choose Cosmo for the last 3 nights, though I could understand wanting to have a longer stretch for the last hotel. If nothing else, leaving Cosmo on the last day is so easy with their self-parking...it's a lot less schlepping/coordinating than many other hotels.
