wondered whay you mean by signs of lights
I didnt think anything had changed re free drinks at the slots on the casino floor, ie just wait for the cocktail waitress to come round

There was talk a few weeks back about the lights above slots indicating whether people were actively gambling or not - maybe I picked it up wrong as the reference I've found to it on line is about gambling at the bar:

hi
can i be so nosey and ask how you are able to pay "buttons for flights and hotels"?
As someone who likes to save money where ever possiable i often find it hard to find fantastic deals n what not for flights and hotels.
I have Mlife and sometimes get offered free nights there but its often 2 nights which to be fair is something
thanks for any advice!!!:j
We collect Virgin miles through fairly smart use of reward credit cards. This means that we get our direct flights from Manchester for 'free'. We just have to pay the taxes, so for the last two trips and next summer's we've paid just over £200 each for direct flights with Virgin.
With hotels, we make use of MLife offers and My Vegas rewards. For our 2015 trip we only paid for two out of eleven nights. In 2016 we paid for more nights but the rates were really low (around $45 a night Inc. resort fees).
Both our 2015 and 2016 trips worked out at less than £350 each for 10/11 nights (flights and hotels including resort fees). Couldn't get a decent week in Spain for that price!
For the last couple of years we've stayed at Monte Carlo and Excalibur because they are where we had the best offers but we're a bit bored of them now so we might choose to spend more to stay somewhere different"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

On the subject of reward credit cards, last week I rang up to cancel my Amex Preferred Rewards Gold card before the card anniversary (didn't want to pay the £140 fee). I referred Mr W-J a couple of months back so we're now working on achieving our second lot of 22,000 bonus miles.
Completely painless to cancel and the chap I spoke to actually advised me that if I wanted to come back then if I waited six months I'd qualify again for the welcome bonus! I knew this was the case but was really surprised that they actually advise customers of it. Needless to say, I'll be applying again if the deal stays the same - at least 53,000 miles a year (62,000 if Mr W-J can refer me too) between us plus those accumulated through normal spending is just marvellous!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"

If you churn the AMEX PLAT card between two of you the rewards can mount up quickly.
The £450  fee is refunded pro rata, is also usually on TCB or Qudico.
So at times going through TCB and spending quickly I've actually been paid to get the card
Look at headforpoints re how to get FF miles quickly.0 -

We did the Gold --> Platinum upgrade 6 months ago and they haven't charged the Platinum fee yet :j
There isn't a link to upgrade now, it disappeared recently.0 -
Not been on here much lately, but we are in Vegas just now. Just getting ready to go and meet Pebbles. Ferf - I tried messaging you earlier, I've probably left it too late to say to you. We've been quite busy since we got here so I wasn't thinking straight.
Weather here is nice and sunny, though it's a little cloudy and cooler today. Apparently tomorrow is to be windy then much colder (more normal weather) on Thursday.
We were at the Venetian yesterday and noticed that John Cleese and Eric Idle are on there on Friday and Saturday night - think we might go to it on Friday. Probably a fairly unique opportunity to see them.0 -
Lesley, it was lovely to see you again. I hope you got the tickets you wanted. We might see if we can get some too. Hopefully we can work it round the Il Divo tickets.
Bonus, we brought ferf and hubby with us.0 -
