    hi
can i be so nosey and ask how you are able to pay "buttons for flights and hotels"?

As someone who likes to save money where ever possiable i often find it hard to find fantastic deals n what not for flights and hotels.

I have Mlife and sometimes get offered free nights there but its often 2 nights which to be fair is something

    thanks for any advice!!!:j

I imagine WJ is calling flights and hotels buttons compared to the rest of the expenditure, as was I

I am constantly searching for relatively cheap flights anything below £500 is cheap at mo IMO. I could have got flights from Norwich for £405 a couple of weekends ago but only in Jan and Feb when I didnt want to go.

Hotels for me are almost all comped by either total rewards or Bconnected, but I do pay the resort fee in dollars

I do get offers from Mlife as well but rarely stay in MGM properties, guess they are from past play

thats why my flights and hotels dont cost me as much as i spend when I am there

    PS
I have just booked to go again despite my reservations re the exchange rate and the fact Vegas seems to be changing for the worse.

flights from Norwich for £445 next May, 13 nights. booked 5 nights comped at harrahs at mo, yet to decide on the remaining 8, may have a weekend in either laughlin or palm springs

and thank you for the feedback phontome!!

I have little knowledge in regards total rewards. I assume it is the opposite of Mlife .e.g the other non mgm hotels version?

are the *rewards* easy to come by?
is it a game where you get points or is it money spent = points?

    Kind regards!

total rewards is exactly the same as Mlife only it is all caesers properties
    ie

Caesers palace, Paris,Ballys, Harrahs Flamingo,Linq, Rio, Planet Hollywood

rewards i guess are on a par with Mlife, in my experience you dont have to gamble much to be offered blocks of 5 nights comped with total rewards

with B connected (boyd properties) rewards are even easir to come by although I can usually only get 2 or 3 nights comped per month

Bobby I know you are an MGM fan I am quite the opposite for reasons I have said on here many times over the years

A few quick things to note from my recent trip:

$20 dollar trick at Trump got us upgraded to a fabulous 1bed 2 bath suite looking directly down the strip :T.

I looked for signs of lights above slots re free (or lack of) drinks - none visible in Venetian or Mirage.

We had Groupon tickets for this Elvis show:
https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g45963-d6485207-Reviews-All_Shook_Up_Tribute_to_the_King-Las_Vegas_Nevada.html. Absolutely superb and a bargain as 2-4-1.

No-one told me there was still smoking in casinos . Air filtration worked best in the higher end casinos hence the Venetian and Mirage, both of whom are very generous with drinks at the tables and both of whom do a mean Bloody Mary .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

wondered whay you mean by signs of lights

I didnt think anything had changed re free drinks at the slots on the casino floor, ie just wait for the cocktail waitress to come round

agree with your comment on smoking in casinos, that is one of the things I really dont like about the casinos it is impossible not to have your clothes smelling of smoke when you return to your room
I also think Venetian is one of the better ones as they have a high celing

    Hi
and thanks for the feedback. I have heard of total rewards though dont know anything about they, though like i assumed it was for the none mgm properties!

As for being a mgm fan i guess its like a home from home kinda hotel( for me anyway) but being tight with money(or is that money saving?:T) if i were to be offered a block of 5nights for free , then well i d be tempted to go with that !!

    thanks again

Social Rewards helps you increase your Total Rewards points it also keeps the points alive if you don't visit often.

Quick question we are going to Vegas at Christmas and plan to hire a car for a few days. The hotel we are staying at does valet parking and l was wondering what costs are involved in this (haven't hired a car in the USA before.)

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Where are you staying, parking charges have been introduced at all MGM properties so the answer will depend on where you are staying
