I agree with Love, I absolutely adored it and so did my OH.
    Thank you all who post.
  • I booked the encore with low cost usa yesterday as it was such a good deal and also stated no resort fees.
  • Does lowcostusa do free cancellation bookings or are they all paid for up front?

There's a decent price on a terrace one bedroom fountain view at the Cosmo... About $250+resort fee/night

Mostly they are pay up front deals. From memory any that aren't were clearly marked as such.

A couple of times I've seen 'optional resort fees'. not sure what this means in practice, probably the hotel asking if you want paper, access gym, room wifi etc and then charging you if you say yes.

Another vote here for LOVE. Been twice and we both think it's great. Agree that seats anywhere have a great view.

Just been googling....lot of stories about comp drinks whilst playing the slots being harder to come by....

Anyone bear any truth to this? Are free drinks harder to come by than usual at the slots on the strip?

This has already started at casino bars...hope it isn't going to be used for slot play as well.
Increasing resort fees, and now fewer "free" drinks :(

Posted this on here a few days ago.

Our trip in September the drinks service was as usual....some places come round quickly...others...like the Venetian...we left after losing a fair bit without so much as one drink offered.

Bellagio was probably the best service this trip.
  • Drinks monitoring has been introduced at Caesars properties, probably be in MGM ones before long!

The Wynn is a lovely hotel but not as central as some, which can be a plus or a minus depending what you want.
