Aww jeez now you are frightening me. We are not gamblers and I can't see us spending any more than £20 on machines...it's just not me.0

Here's the monthly average climate data for Las Vegas, but of course the conditions on any particular day can vary considerably:

BTW if you search online for this type of information, check that you've got the Las Vegas in Nevada (NV), not the one in New Mexico (NM) which is 700 miles away.

Have you got your Mlife card-if so, have you registared on Mlife.com? if not i would register on Mlife.com all you need it your account number(on your Mlife card) and a few details, and you create a password and then its easy to see if you have any deals via that way!
yep had a card for a few years, balance is at a big fat zero0 -
Thanks so much Stevie....we actually had a look at Groupon and I'll keep that in mind. Very helpful. Might just ask at the hotel re the show.
If you sign up for Groupon.com in advance they regularly have 20% discounts of local deals, making it even better value.Cheers everyone for your helpful suggestions...we will take everything on board ...starting to get excited even writing about it. Do you think it will be cold end of February?
I am going again in December and not exactly expecting shorts weather on this trip unfortunately:(
Regarding Fremont Street, there is more going on at weekends when you can catch live bands, Elvis impersonators singing, oh and my favourite is the Sax player Carl Ferris. If you drive to Fremont Street most of the on road parking is metered but after 8pm are free, just read the meter details to be certain.
On gambling I am like you I can take it or leave it but some of the hotels and Casinos give you free $ for signing up to their player card, this also can give you discount on there buffets etc.
Another cheap and cheerful, popular place is Ellis Island, sign up for their player card and get free gambling $ and a steak meal for about $10. You can have fun on the slots for free and may win some, like mrs Stevie did and then have a nice meal all for say $20 plus extra for your drinks;)0 -

I have been at the end of Jan/beginning of Feb a few times and the weather can vary, as already stated evenings can be cool so a jacket required but the days can be pleasant. If you venture out to some of the nearby state parks it can still get very warm even in Winter. Venture out to the Grand Canyon and you then risk sub zero temperatures with snow. As it is the end of Feb you are going I would imagine it will start to warm up again but still expect cooler nights.

Hi we will be travelling from Scotland to LV end of Feb next year. .
hi and welcome to the forum, a vegas newbie and a fellow scot, :j where are you travelling from?
As said be careful in regards gambiling, its the easiest way to lose alot of money and quickly so be careful! its good you are setting a budget though
Im no idea about the blue man show but as said there are loads of deals avaiable and there are tix4tonight booths(one is pretty close to the mgm which is near the luxor,)
As you are looking for deals, the tix4tonight they do tickets for shows that same day, night /next day but they also do food deals too which could help
hope this helps0 -
Why have you chosen Blue Man Group? I didn't enjoy their show at all. Lots of others do though.
We don't gamble much, but love Las Vegas.
Check out happy hours for good prices on food and drinks. We like Bahama Breeze and Gordon Biersch. They are just off strip at Flamingo/Paradise. We also enjoy some bargain food and brews at Ellis Island.0
