Good afternoon everyone!
I have been lurking for a long time and have been making use of the good advice imparted by people on this thread.
I am after abit of advice when it comes to when and how to book the trip. At the moment I am leaning towards booking this separately myself, however I have seen a few prices for 'package' deals on the internet and wanted thoughts on if the price being quoted to me is any good?
For example we (me and the other half) are wanting to go to Vegas in September 2017 for a week. I have seen the following offer on lowcostusa of direct flights (Thomas cook charter) from Manchester staying at Wynn Encore in a King Resort Suite for £1106pp with no resort fees to pay going the beginning of September next year. Is this a good price?
I have a feeling that booking now is too early to be catching the best deals, and maybe waiting a little would potentially get us a better price? For example waiting till there is sales/offers with Virgin and BA during Christmas/new year?
Any advice greatly appreciated.0 -

Hi wondered if anyone has seen this and what you thought of it. My OH and l would like to see a show whilst in Vegas - last time we were lucky enough to see Jersey Boys (so sad we have missed it) but so far we haven't see many we think we would enjoy.
Look forward to your replies. We are spending Christmas/New Year there.
The one we are looking at is the Beatles.Stash Busting Challenge 2016 6/520 -

Which Cirque? There are five or six in Vegas nowadays.illegitimi non carborundum0 -
Its not actually about the Beatles, it just features Beatles music, and a whole load of imagery from the 1960s. LOVE is very good, as is KA. Avoid Zumanity.illegitimi non carborundum0

The Wynn is one of the top hotels on the strip. Flight prices are not usually published till around 11 months out. I would find out the cost of the Wynn and then work out how much the flights are costing on the example you gave, when they are published. Remember both hotel and flight prices change all the time and deals are to be had so you could search today for a 5* hotel and it be £100 a night search again in a week or two it may have doubled.
BA holidays offer good discounts when purchasing the flight and hotel together as a package. If you are prepared for an ex-EU flight returning to Man you could probably save more on the flights but that comes with added inconvenience.
Regarding the resort fee, I have never booked through Locostusa but I would double check that the cost includes the resort fee because you could be hit with another charge added to the cost of your holiday.
If you are happy with the price and want to plan a year ahead go for it.
Edit, just done a search on BA holidays for the first week in Sept 17 and the Wynn package is currently costing £1525 each;)0 -

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have had a look online and the prices for the Thomas Cook charter flight are showing at £610 each, so £1220 for the two of us return. This means the hotel is costing us £992 for the 7 nights. I was really surprised that lowcostusa included the resort fees, it even stated at two different parts of the booking 'no resort fees to pay'. If I end up booking with them its something I would definitely query with them before booking.
We are happy to have some added inconvenience in terms of flights as long as it is rewarded financially with a worthwhile saving, however we would obviously prefer to fly direct which from my understanding of flying from Manchester there is only two options of Thomas Cook Charter and Virgin.
I am just trying to gauge if the package price offered by lowcostusa is traditionally a good price for staying at the Wynn or should I be waiting to potentially take advantage of better prices/offers that may arise in the coming months.0 -
I've used lowcostusa twice in the past with 'no resort fee' bookings and not had a problem.0
