Just a heads up but we are in SF at the moment after 6 days in LV and it's quite cold so have had to buy fleeces etc, a bit of a shock after temperatures of around the 100 mark in LV

We were surprised too. It's always a lot cooler there. When we were there the place was shrouded in mist for nearly two days as well.

Just been playing around with the virgin reward seat sale for the past hour. If only i wasnt tied to school holidays!! Is it worth keep checking or will they not change on the school holiday dates?

Got back from my first LV trip last week, but wife came back with an infection which developed into septecemia so she's been in hospital all week.

However, just wanted to post that when we checked into Excalibur we were offered a room upgrade immediately, 'for only $20 per night' :.
After I looked mournful for a moment and said I wasn't sure that my budget would stretch to that (cue my OH looking sad) he comped the upgrade anyway. No guarantee it'll happen to everyone, but worth playing the poor man card if they ask you!

Hi we got at players card for Ellis Island when were there 2 years ago and plan to go again at Christmas. Will we need a new card or will the old be valid?

Your account will still be valid, but you may need new cards. They updated their slot club software a while ago, and we had to get new cards printed.

I can't remember when it was, but it was reasonably recent. It was half way through the trip, which is why I remember.

An update and thanks to those who advised me last week. I bit the bullet and booked a week in December. I know the weather will be cool but there are still plenty of things to pass the time.
