No, so long as it was one ticket, e.g. an indirect flight is OK, but two tickets on the same planes is not.

€600 per person I think is your claim.
We got €240 each for a delay at Heathrow on a Delta/Virgin flight. We were LAS-LGW-LHR-MAN on the way home. The last leg was cancelled and we missed our onward journey to Cumbria too. They paid for a taxi home and we had to claim the official compensation later.

I hope you get paid out Rebecca. You really deserve it.

Thanks have put a claim in. They will probably try and get out of the codeshare thing and say it was a separate flight.

    Will let you all know.

One good thing . I think MGM has not charged us a resort fee. My credit card just shows £8 front desk which were for a mini bar coke and a beer. Will keep a watch though. Theres still time.

The codeshare isn't an issue as it was one ticket, just not sure the regs cover compensation for loss of cabin pressure.

    Edit

Just read your post on the flight delay board and it does seem to confirm there is no liability for an comp from the airline

I do think you would be better going after virgin holidays for the MGM mix up and a goodwill gesture for the hassle on a short holiday

I have posted before re my thoughts on MGM.

I have stayed at most of the strip hotels and many of them more than once, the MGM is the only one where haven't got my requested room. ( twice) I had to take a smoking room after requesting a non smoking and on the second time I had to take a king room with a rollaway after requesting 2 queens, I won't stay there again

Photome I will not stay there again either. Though I actually like the casino.

It was oh first time so he fancied there. I thik next time I would stay somewhere cheaper even Hooters.:rotfl:

I like that area though, can walk about. I stayed at the stratosphere the first time. It was just too out of the way only Circus within walking distance.

This may seem like a strange question but how often have you came across birds in the casino? As in the feathery type. :D

I have a bird phobia. I can't walk down a high street without ducking and diving.

We were sat one morning in the Deli at the MGM having a bagel. I glanced into the sportsbook:amazing lots if screens etc. Looked at the table next to me. Two sparrows were sat on the chair back staring at the leftovers.
Well I just dropped my bagel and ran. Guffaws from oh.

A woman cleaning the tables shooed them away and they flew onto a beam next to the sports book. There was 6 of them just stood there.

I was just wondering if they ever let them out. They would starve stuck in there. I am petrified but would not wish them harm.

I did not come across birds in any others. I know work places fly eagles around.

I also have a bird phobia and can't say I've ever encountered birds inside a casino. There were some on the patio at NFI last year so we just went indoors.

I thought he'd he jump at the chance too, lol! Never mind spends, i'd live on bread and water out there, lol. Then again, I'm not a gambler/drinker, so my vegas experience is probably pretty tame compared to many :D
