Question for those of you in Vegas at the moment, or that were there recently: how is the Lucky Dragon development coming along? I'm just curious because I've read today that they expect to open in Q4 of this year, but the last I had heard, there was only a parking garage built and the rest was at a standstill.

I booked business class with BA/AA for about £900, going in August.
    Where from?

That's actually a deal I would consider! I think business class is usually rediculously expensive but that actually sounds decent (considering some flights are £700 these days anyway).

Yes, I was delighted. Although I have no self control with the champagne and always end up drunk as a skunk both ways! :rotfl::rotfl:

    DUB - LHR - LAX - LAS

    LAX - DFW - LHR - DUB

School holidays are apparently the cheapest for premium travel. So I hear.

Out of curiosity, what is the total travel time each way.

It's a hormone of some description. Illegal in the UK as far as I know. It works a bit for us, but timewise we get so acclimatised over our 6 week holidays it's no wonder we have a bit of bother with jet lag.

It's not illegal in UK, it's a POM (prescription only medicine) whereas you can buy it over the counter in the US. I tried it once but made me feel a bit strange. You can get different strengths so may have gone too high. Think I may give it another go as both myself and OH half really struggled with jetlag this time. Seems strange that a few others have said this year was particularly bad for them too....

Thanks for the information, it is greatly appreciated.

It was looking at the BA LBA-LHR-LAS that started me on the Avios scheme. However, on the dates I looked at it is LBA-LHR 9:20 – 10.35 and LHR-LAS 15:50 – 18:30. I am not one for a 5 hour and 15 minute wait at LHR, and 2 connections is not for me.

I think, whilst my knowledge is low at the moment, I made the right choice not paying an annual fee. Nice to know that my general spend (no effort required) is quietly earning Avios though, and that when I do come to look at 2017 holidays I might be able to make a saving.

I looked at the following for general information: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/boost-avios-

Hi, not sure what dates you need but there is also a flight out to LV at 12.30pm, LBA gets in at 10.45am so 1hr 45min wait...

Ours was horrible this year. You're not on you're own there.

Thanks for the clarification. I knew you couldn't just buy it in the uk.

I was looking originally around the end of November, and it is not showing up. Thanks for the information though. I am booked for this year, but I will store that knowledge for when I am looking next year.

Dal Toro update. I chased up again today saying what was holding up my refund as I knew others who had received theirs! I got a reply back quickly with a refund notification. It says they're 'refunding me' then it goes on to say 'groupon bucks'. I had a $10 off voucher when I bought it, so only $25 back. So I've wasted the $10 new account voucher too now. :( Bit annoyed. I mean why don't they just refund me. Annoying thing is, I tried to purchase another groupon on that account and it didn't go through, I got an email saying to contact them regarding payment but I just ordered it on another account instead. I have a feeling I'll have bother using this credit. I'm annoyed it took so long for them to refund me too.
