One month today and I will be in my airport hotel. :D

I finally made up my mind re: the MyVegas rewards. Baring in mind we are limited because we don't stay at an MGM property, I'm fairly happy with the selection. I have:

    $75 Tender Steakhouse credit, Luxor.
    $50 The Steakhouse credit, Excalibur.
$50 Rice & Company credit, Luxor.
2 for 1 dinner buffet, Bellagio.
2 for 1 lunch buffet, Aria.
    Foundation Room access for 2.
    Vegas Nights BOGOF helicopter flight.

I used the Tender credit last time and really liked the restaurant but the rest will be new for us so looking forward to trying some new places to eat and drink.

  • I won't be penny pinching once we're there but every little helps in the planning though!

That is exactly what we are thinking, and our trip is not till November.
We have hardly any $ left from our May Trip. The rate we were getting then was $1.4, so $1.3 is not the end of the world. It has just made us focus a little, eg we stay at MGM Sig and normally just buy some paper bowls from somewhere on the strip but this year we will get them over here and save a couple of £ / $.

Husband is currently listing on ebay, and is playing Lady Antebellum. He always plays Lady Antebellum when he is on the pc and it has a Vegas connection. He never plays them any other time - he is in to his indie and rock music.

I have got all my spends for October trip....I brought $1200 back with me and have bought a fair bit prior to the referendum....however I refuse to penny pinch when I am there because I always think to myself this could be my very last trip for all I know and I don't want to regret not doing or buying things I really want.Having said that we are staying at the Wynn and get free breakfast Buffett everyday and with buffets I will get with Myvegas we are saving money on food so more to spend on shopping!!!

Is this a recent offer? I could be tempted to drop a few nights off my Platinum booking in favour of this :)

We fly out on Friday for 6 nights staying at the encore - still have too much to get done to get excited just now. What night are you going to Britney? We are going on Wednesday and i got standing golden circle tickets. Dont know if they will be any good or if seats would be better but i will want to dance if its a good show. We are going to the UFC200 on Saturday night which should be good. The weather forecast is scorchio all week - bring it on!

We're seeing her on Wednesday too! Got seats but we're on the end of the row so should have room to dance :T

Almost everybody stood up and danced at Britney when we went. For the whole show. I could not have managed to do that.

We were lucky that we could sit down for the show and still see. It could so easily have been ruined for us.

    My Vegas......

dunno if it's been around a while or if it's a 4th July thing but one of the annoying popups on there just gave me the option to buy 1.5m chips for $1.

I've not been playing it on a desktop for some time so this might not be news to some of you, however for me it's the chance to burn through the chips to get as much 'gold' as possible - I'm sure I'll see well over $1 of value from it.

Was it the thing where you have to choose a balloon? If so, it's random which offer you get. 1.5m for $1 is amazing!

I got the offer of 517k for $5.
