I just had an email to exchange a r.com voucher for a restaurant no longer participating and was having a look....nowhere near as many options as there used to be. We did like Origin India when we went a few years ago, always meant to go back but haven't yet. I also appear to have a Stripburger voucher I didn't realise I had, so that's good....except I thought they had stopped accepting them, or maybe I'm making that up.

I was reading a forum yesterday that said stripburger were no longer accepting R.com vouchers, think it was on the Vegasmesageboard

I have 2 for stripburger and a couple of others, I havent used any for years and havent looked on r.com for years, may take a look later today

Duchy, that is the earliest flight from Dublin, but that's my ticket (Dub-las)....
Further research shows plenty of time for the connecting flight stuff, so my McD's is sorted!!!
Wife said to me last night, why u so fussed, we get food on the plane?
So I said, remember the food on the VA flight 2 years ago, to which she replied "oh yeah, McD's it is!" :D

I have a few R.com vouchers. There have been a lot of restaurants leaving the program, so they are all credit exchanges now.

I might look to see what I can use them for next trip, and forget about them after that.

Stripburger stopped accepting the vouchers quite a long time ago.
We had one,we had had it for at least 3 years, and received an email from restaurant.com saying they were no longer accepted.
So we now have a $25 gift token to use for another restaurant.
We also bought,a long time ago,a $50 voucher for House of Blues.
Planning on using this one this year.
Never been to House of Blues in Mandalay Bay,but been to the one at Downtown Disney in Orlando a few times, and always enjoyed it.

Just checked my r.com account, my stripburger vouchers were from 2011 and 2012.

exchanged them for credit then checked and I have about 10 gift vouchers of various amounts to use. If i dont use them this time in May/june, like pebbles I will forget about them

I wish you luck with that - The queues can be bad for MacDonalds at Gatwick ........ Maybe have one at DUB just in case.......and if you end up with two breakfasts are you really going to complain ? ;)

Just booked the second Vegas trip for this year.
September already booked, and now got 8 nights booked in May.
Don't really like going for that short a trip, but booked direct flights,so hopefully that will help.
Swore blind we would only go once this year....it appears Vegas has a stronger hold over me than I would like.
Every time I think of valid reasons why we shouldn't go,the words "your a long time dead" always win out.:D

It's a bit odd as normally when the restaurant is no longer participating, it says that against the voucher when you look at it in your list, but mine doesn't.

I'm pretty sure I used the same r.com voucher for Stripburger a few times, without meaning to...I don't think they regularly logged them with the site.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • i see alot of currency traders and now saying the pound can drop to the level of 1985 at $1.27. alot are predicting a drop to $1.32 by June and by end of year to around $1.27.

the pound appears to not have alot of friends, and with the interest rate staying low, a looming possible brexit, the immediate future does not look bright.
